Mrs. Walters was a member of the Shilo Presbyterian Church of Miola. She is survived by her husband, Win Walters, her mother, Mrs. June Dolby of Miola, two daughters, Mrs. Harry Kahle and Mrs. Dean McCleary, both of Miola, and one son, Ralph Reaghart, of Cheswick, Pa. Five sisters, Mrs. Fay Bizzak, of Smethport; Mrs. Jeff Seibert, Marienville; Mrs. Jerry Swartzfeger, Rouseville; Mrs. Grover Reaghart, Strattanville, and Mrs. Raymond Doltan, Philadelphia, also survive along with seven brothers, Carl, Clarion; Jesse, Strattanville; Lou, Helen Furnace; Roy, Orlie, Milo, and Scott, all of Miola, and ten grandchildren. on March 10, 1956.4 She died on March 10, 1956 at Brookeville, Jefferson Co., Pennsylvania, at age 55.3,4

Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Jesse (Sarah) Seybert of Marienville, Mrs. John (Fay) Bizack of Smethport, Mrs. Jerry (Ruth) Swartzfager of Oil City, and Mrs. Michael (Voil) Dalton of Philadelphia. One son, Francis; one greatgrandson; six brothers, Mike, Louis, Carl, Jesse, Scott and James Dolby, two sisters, Iva Reighart Walters, and Mabel Rieahart, preceded him in death. Interment was in Miola Cemetery. The family suggests memorials may be made to the Helen Furnace United Methodist Church. on November 21, 1988.6

Jess Fred Dolby was buried at Miola Cemetery, Clarion, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.1,3 He was born on January 9, 1910 at Miola Township, Clarion Co., Pennsylvania.1,2 He married Molly Jane "Dolly" Shew on January 12, 1937.1 Jess Fred Dolby died on September 21, 1969 at Erie, Erie Co., Pennsylvania, at age 59.1 He County man, 59, dies Sunday as a result of car-truck crash. Jess F. Dolby 59, of RD Shippenville, an employe of C. & K. Coal Company, Clarion, died in Hamot Hospital, Erie, at 5:55 a.m. Sunday, approximately 12 hours after suffering severe head injuries in a car-truck crash on Route 322, one mile east of Cranberry. Dolby, driver of the truck involved in the accident, received emergency treatment at Oil City Hospital following the acident and was then transfered to the Erie Hospital. Donald R. Keniston, 45, of Emlenton, dirver of the auto, and his wife, Jean L. 43, were treated at Oil City Hospital and later released. Investigating State Police officers said Dolby's 1969 Dodge truck was traveling east on Route 322 when it failed to negotiate a sharp curve, crossed the center line of the highway, striking the Keniston auto, a 1967 Ambassador, which was traveling west. Police said the truck then crossed the road again and slammed against a tree rolling onto its side. Funeral services for Mr. Dolby will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion with the Rev. Sheldon Logan, a Presbyterian minister and the Rev. William McCartney, pastor of the Clarion United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Miola Cemetery. Mr. Dolby was born January 9, 1910, at Miola, the son of John and June Fronce Dolby. He was maried January 12, 1937, to the former Molly Shew, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Janet) Gray of Clarion; two sons, William of RD1 Strattanville and Russ of RD 1 Shippenville; four sisters; Mrs. Jess (Sarah) Seybert of Marienville, Mrs. John (Faye) Bizzak of Smethport, Mrs. Raymond (Wyvonne) Dalton of philadelphia and Mrs. Gerald (Ruth) Swartzfager of Oil City; six brothers, Orlie, Louis, Carl and Scott Dolby, all of Clarion, Milo of Shippenville and Roy Dolby of New Jersey and five grandchildren. on September 24, 1969.1

Air Force in Minot, N.D; four daughters, Mrs. Charles (Jacqueline) Clinger and Mrs. Albert (Bonnie) Clinger of Summerville, Mrs. William (Wilda) Huff of Sharon and Mrs. Carl (Florence) VanCamp of Glenn Gardner; 16 grandchildren and a greatgrandchild. Also surviving are five brothers, Orlie, Mike, Louis and Scott Dolby of Clarion RD and Carl Dolby of Oil City RD; four sisters, Mrs. Jessie (Sara) Seybert of Marienville, Mrs. John (Fay) Bizzak of Smethport, Mrs. Raymond (Yvonne) Dalton of Philadelphia and Mrs. Gerald (Ruth) Swartzfager of Oil City. His parents, two sisters and a brother are deceased. Friends may call any time at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion, where funeral services will be held at 2 pm today. Rev. He is survived by two sons and their wives, Dr. Shanley J. and Marjorie Seybert of Titusville and Robert Seybert and Patricia of Marienville: six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Seybert was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Richard; and five sisters, Lily Rimer, Ethel Preister, Twila Lobaugh, Etta Priester and Ruby Fox. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Borland Funeral Home, Leeper, and at St. Ann's Church, Marienville, Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m., at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated bv Rev. Mr. Dolby was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, serving from 1946 to 1948. He was stationed in Europe and also Washington D.C., where he worked funerals at the Arlington National Cemetery. He worked as a laborer for the union labor local 952 until his retirement in 1990 and was a former tax assessor for Highland Township. He was a member of the Helen Furnace United Methodist Church and belonged to the American Legion Post #66 in Clarion. Mr. Dolby farmed his fathers homestead for many years and enjoyed gardening, cooking and canning his own foods. He was an avid card player and loved to hunt, fish and have cookouts with his family. His theory was if it wasnt a Ford, it wasnt a vehicle. He is survived by a son, Douglas E. Dolby and wife, R. Jean, of Leeper; three daughters, Darlene Heasley and husband, Ed, of Leeper, Diane Call of Clarion and Denise Shufesky of Marienville and husband, Dave, stationed in Iraq; and eight grandchildren, Matthew Heasley and wife, Yolanda, of Leeper, Melissa Austen and husband, Scott, of Clarion, Amanda Call and friend, Jake Snyder, of Clarion, Chris Call and friend, Erica Keck, of Clarion, Beth Baker and husband, Josh, of Leeper, Rob Sorrell and friend, Tosha Shumate, of Leeper, Amanda Sorrell and friend, Kyle Davidson, of Garland and Adam Sorrell, serving with the army in Fort Benning, Ga. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Kaoz and Harmony Baker of Leeper, Matthew Graham of Rocky Grove, Brittany Graham, Austin Stelene, Cody Stelene and Joel R. Sorrell III, all of Leeper; a brother-in-law, Ralph Hedrick of Clarion; a sister-in-law, Susan Dolby of Dubois; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Dolby was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Dolby and John Dolby; two sisters, Joan Hedrick and Shirley Schmader; and an infant sister, Diana Dolby. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. Military honors will be accorded by the American Legion Post #66 at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Hurst, pastor for the Helen Furnace United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will take place in the Miola Cemetery. At the request of the family, there will be no donations.

Douglas Edward Dolby Douglas Edward Dolby, 58, of Leeper, PA passed away following a brief illness on Monday March 4, 2019 at his home. Born on October 25, 1960 in Brookville, PA, he was the son of the late Willis Clyde and Josephine Ethel (Drayer) Dolby. He was a graduate of Clarion Area High School. Douglas was employed as a maintenance man at Allegheny Wood Products in Marble, PA. On June 7, 2003 he married Rae Jean Hartman, she survives in Leeper, PA. He was a member of the Helen Furnace United Methodist Church. Douglas enjoyed cutting wood, spending time in the woods, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Along with his wife, Douglas is survived by two sons, James “Rob” Sorrell and wife Katelynn of Sugar Grove, PA and Adam J. Sorrell of Oil City; a daughter, Amanda Myers and husband Brent of Scandia, PA; three sisters, Darlene Heasley and husband Ed of Leeper, Diane Call and companion John Hargenrader of Fryburg, PA, and Denise Shufesky and husband Dave of Marienville, PA. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Joel, Olivia, Melissa, Evan, Hayden, Raelynn, and Oakley; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
