After her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting, reading and crossword puzzles. Also surviving are a daughter and husband, Linda and Michael Hinkson of Cooperstown; three sons, W. Michael Kelly and wife, Susan, J. Patrick Kelly and wife, Ellen, and Tim Kelly all of Franklin; two stepdaughters and husbands, Sally and Bob Wolf of Erie and Pam and Bill Morris of Franklin; and a stepson and his wife, Ken and Hope Phipps of Nancy, Ky. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Kaitlynn and Ryan Kriek, Chris Billingsley, Candice Harrington, Kelli Miller, Shanin Kelly, Hillary Sanford, Justin Campbell and Sue and Kim Tucker; four great-grandchildren, Alex and Lauren Billingsley, Rhiannon Miller and Oakley Sanford. Surviving also are a brother, Jack Coulter, and a sister and husband, Susan and Dennis Johnson, all of Franklin and a number of nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Phipps was preceded in death by an infant daughter; a sister, Leda Jackson; and her former husband, Oakley Bishop Kelly.
