Johnson, on January 24, 1942 at Wyco, Wyoming Co., West Virginia.¹ Gladys Elizabeth Sluder died on October 9, 2016 at Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., Kentucky, at age 92.^2,3 She Gladys Elizabeth Sigmon, 92, of Radcliff, passed away Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. Mrs. Sigmon was a member of Radcliff First Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, five sisters, and a brother. Survivors include two sons, Daniel Sigmon of Richmond, Indiana, and Dana Stephen Sigmon of Smyrna, Tennessee; three grandchildren; three brothers, Durrell Sluder of Florida, Dewayne Sluder and William Sluder, both of Tennessee. The funeral for Mrs. Sigmon is at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at Coffey & Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove with Pastor Martha Tennison officiating. Burial follows in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff. on October 12, 2016.²

Surviving: wife, Violet Sale Blackwell Hodge; daughters, Mary Kuneff and Millie Williams both of Nitro, W.Va., Paula Street of Elkview, W.Va., Patty Conner and Robin O'Neal both of St. Albans, Brenda Hodge of Dallas; stepsons, Fred Helm and Rob Helms both of Gallipolis, John Helm of Marietta, Ga; brothers, Bill Hodge of Deltona, Fla., Alvie Hodge of Baltimore; sister, Iren Hartwell, Christine Lowry and Bonnie Lilly all of Hinton, Betty Fleshman of Alderson, W.Va., Melva Meadows of Michigan City, Ind; 13 grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, St. Albans. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, with Masonic graveside rites. on January 1, 1993.⁵

She worked for Fairview Homes in the dietary department. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Beulah Lawson Greene. Survivors include her husband of 36 1/2 years, Barry G. Sigmon; son, Barry G. Sigmon Jr. of Radford; and sisters, Jacquelin Greene of Princeton, W.Va., Mitzi Gail Thompson of Grand Blanc, Mich. and Barbara Hope Greene of Mt. Airy, N.C. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Neil Wood and Matthew Wood officiating. Interment will be private at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Christiansburg.      Roger Henry Shrader Roger Henry Shrader, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Born in Bluefield, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Robert Henry and Letha Melvin Shrader. Mr. Shrader retired from Precast following over 30 years of service and then owned and operated Yesterday's Craftsman for 15 years. He was a member of the Brick Layers Union. Mr. Shrader is survived by two sons, Roger Henry Shrader, Jr., and Eric Eugene Shrader and wife Kandi Marie Shrader; a daughter, Tonya Denise Daniels and husband Michael Daniels; five grandchildren, Brandon Shrader, Joshua Shrader, Erica Daniels, Megan Daniels, and Kalena Daniels; a sister, Janet S. Bratton and husband Kenneth Bratton; and a special friend, Joan Nichols. He was predeceased by two brothers, Gary O. Shrader and Larry Wayne Shrader. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Cannon Funeral Home Chapel, Fountain Inn, with burial to follow in Cannon Memorial Park.² He was buried at Cannon Memorial Park, 1150 N.      Maxine Birdie Lee Hurst was buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Courthouse Road, Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.⁴ Her married name was Sigmon.¹ She married James Willard Sigmon, son of George Woodrow "Woody" Sigmon and Nannie Jane "Nan" Cundiff.^1,2,4,5 Maxine Birdie Lee Hurst was born on March 1, 1930 at Duhring, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^4,6 She BLUEFIELD - Maxine Birdie Lee Sigmon, 81, of Rt. 1 Box 153, Bluefield, W.Va., passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at her residence. She was born March 1, 1930 in Durhing, W.Va. to the late George and Etta Pierce Hurst. Maxine had been a resident of Rt. 20 for the past 21 years was a member of Pine Grove Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 65 years, James Sigmon; one son, Reggie Sigmon; and one grandson, Bobby Burgess. Left to cherish her memory are one son, Richard Sigmon and wife Julia of Sandlick, W.Va; two daughters, Tammy Bailey and husband Ian of Sandlick, W.Va., Susan Windle of Princeton, W.Va; one sister, Evelyn Stenski of Florida; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; a very special group of women who cared for Mom as if she were their own, Margaret Auton, Ann Ellis, Samantha Muncy, Paula Wyatt and Rebecca Morris as well as Hospice. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, W.Va. with Minister Gary Lamie officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, W.Va. where Richard Sigmon II, Justin Neel, Mark Neel, Charles Goode and Joe Thompson will be serving as pallbearers. on January 15, 2012.⁴ She died on January 15, 2012 at Bluefield, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 81.^4,6
