John opened his door and his generosity to so many people, that his home on Lyndhurst became know as the "Mission". To his little people, he became know as "Papa John", and will be remembered by them as the man who always had time for them and loved them very much. His last outings were shared with his co-workers and he was so happy to be remembered by them. He loved each person he worked with as though they were his own. A few weeks before his death, John told his wife and his Pastor that he wanted God's work to go on through them. on January 12, 1998.3
