Poff, on July 2, 1946 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,2,3 Betty Lee Grant died on December 23, 2007 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 79.^4,5 She Betty Grant Haynes, 79, of Roanoke, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2007. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Willard Haynes Jr. Mrs. Haynes was a longtime member of Airlee Court Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Wayne Carter, of Chesapeake, Va., and Bonnie and Buddy Hannah, of Durham, N.C; sons and daughtersin-law, Rick and Jean Haynes, of Amarillo, Texas, and David and Susan Haynes, of Roanoke; four grandchildren; her special granddaughter, Tammy Barnhill and husband, Noah; and Jennifer, Kathryn and Meredith Haynes; sister, Virginia Young of Roanoke; beloved uncle, Howard Buchanan and wife, Evelyn; sister-in-law, Betty Rhea Haynes; and two nephews and two nieces, Michael and Sherry Young, Gary Haynes and wife, Vickie and Cindy Earhart. The family wishes to thank the staff at Raleigh Court Health and Rehabilitation Center and Good Samaritan Hospice for their loving care during their mothers extended illness. Memorials may be made to Airlee Court Baptist Church, (for the PEP CLUB),4827 Delray Street, Roanoke, Va. 24012. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2007, in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Jared Neal will officiate. The family will receive friends after 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Oakey's North Chapel, 540-362-1237. on December 25, 2007.²

Charles was preceded in death by his son, Michael Fry.
