Wickline, age 75, died Saturday in a Low Moor hospital following a short illness. He was born April 15, 1916, in Sweet Springs, W.Va., son of the late Vincent O. and Mary Huffman Wickline. He was a retired employee of the Roanoke City Mills in Roanoke, Va. and a member of the Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Sweet Springs, W.Va. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Grace Crawford Wickline; one stepdaughter, Patricia Crawford Price, Roanoke; four brothers, Eldon and Homer Wickline, both of Gap Mills, W.Va; Gillett Wickline, Pearisburg; Harold Wickline, Charlottesville; two sisters, Wilhemina Thimmes, Fontana, Calif; Hope Grimes, South San Francisco, Calif; two stepgrandsons, Randy and Rodney Price of New Castle. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Broyles-McGuire Funeral Chapel in Union, W.Va. with the Rev. Hertzel Mills officiating. Burial will be in the Wickline Family Cemetery in Gap Mills, W.Va. The family requests donations be made to the Sweet Springs Rescue Squad or the Cokesbury United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on September 30, 1991.²
