She was 78. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Myers Chapel in Porterville. A service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Myers Chapel. Interment will take place at Home of Peace Cemetery. Mrs. Jefford was a native of Denver, Colo., and a resident of Porterville for 35 years. She was a member of AARP #1746, Senior Benefits Association, previously active in the Order of the Eastern Star #114, VFW Auxiliary and the Election Board. She was a Tupperware saleswoman for 35 years. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Herbert Jefford of Porterville; two daughters, Judi Reinking of Lodi and Patricia Sandoval of Fresno; one son, Garry Jefford of Bend, Ore; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
