Anna was a frequently scheduled speaker at garden club events throughout the Dallas Fort Worth Area to teach her floral techniques to aspiring floral arrangers and gardeners. In the Boy Scouts of America, Anna was a scout leader with the Cub Scouts at St. Elizabeth's Church and served in leadership roles with Circle 10 Council. The Boy Scouts recognized Anna's leadership achievements by awarding her the coveted Silver Beaver award. At the St. Elizabeth's church, Anna volunteered for many committees, guilds and good works projects. Anna lived her life with high energy and a zest for living and learning. She was never afraid to take up the mantel for good works. She could be counted on. She was compassionate but she also believed in self reliance. These were values that she instilled in her children. Anna was survived by her 3 children, Kathleen Andrade, Ronald Callahan and Russell Callahan, and sisters, Elizabeth Budsock and Carol St. Cyr.
