Mrs Malston was born in Paulding county, Ohio, March 1, 1900, the daughter of Job and Matilda Stout. The mother survives and lives here. Surviving also are two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Clem of Windfall and Miss Trenia Malston at home; three sons, Marion Ramsey of Kokomo, George Malston at home and Wayne Malston of Atlanta; nine grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Martha Trott and a half-sister, Mrs. Minnie Davis, both of Windfall. The body is at the Pritchard funeral home where services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in charge of the Rev. Mr. Lehue of the Pilgrim Holiness church. Burial will be in Brookside cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. on March 12, 1951.2

Mr. Malston had been ill for several months, but death came unexpectedly. He died almost immediately after learning that his wife had taken ill. Surviving besides the widow and the infant daughter are two sons, George William and Wayne, at home; another daughter, Mrs. Bernel Clem, Windfall; a step-son, Marion Ramsey, Windfall; three sisters, Mrs. A. D. Jones, Windfall; Mrs. Mae Martin, Austin, and Mrs. Lily McDonald, Osborne, Ohio, and a brother, Clyde, of Eaton. Ohio. Mr. Malston had been a resident of Windfall most of his life, serving as justice of the peace for several years. He was a member of the Windfall Christian Church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the home, with the Reverend G. W. Winfrey in charge. Burial will be in Windfall Brookside Cemetery. on November 20, 1934.4

His life was a testament to his unwavering love for both the thrill of racing and the warmth of family bonds. A skilled mechanic, Curtis's hands brought life to machines and his heart enriched the lives he touched. As he journeys beyond, Curtis reunites with his parents, Watson and Reva Howell, whose spirits guide him onward. Born in Floyd, VA, Curtis was a well-known figure in the racing world, making his mark in Franklin County. Known for his appearances in Franklin County races, he lived and breathed the world of racing and cars, an enthusiasm that never wavered. A devoted family man, Curtis found his greatest joy in the company of his loved ones, cherishing every moment spent together. His readiness to offer a helping hand to those in need echoed his kind and generous nature. Left to carry forward his memory are his devoted wife of 47 years, Teresa, along with his two daughters, Annette and Connie. His two sisters, his three grandchildren—Dwayne, Richie, and Kayleigh—and seven great-grandchildren continue to hold his spirit close.
