The burial will take place Sunday, the services being at the late home at 2 o'clock. The wife of Mr. Hill died about twenty years ago, and he is survived by two sons and two daughters, they being Elmer Hill, of Elwood, Hilda McGuire, Kokomo, David Hill, Elwood and Laura Lockridge of this county. Mr. Hill was a man who stood well in the community in which he had resided for so many years, being admired for his many fine traits of character. He was industrious, and was active in the Baptist church, of which he was a member. on July 21, 1922.6

Jarrett, who died in 1955. Mr. Jarrett had lived in Anderson for 50 years, moving here from Sharpsville, and was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church. Survivors are two sons, Jerome Jarrett, Middletown, Ohio; Robert Jarrett, Middletown, Ind; three daughters, Mrs. John Simmonds, Anderson; Mrs. Don Cooper, Anderson, and Mrs. Earl Huntzinger, Maples, Fla; 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the Waltz and Hiday Funeral Home where friend will be rececived after 2 p.m. today, and where service will be conducted Monday at 10:30 a.m. by the Rev. Oscar Ahlbrant. Burial will be in the Grove Lawn Cemetery. on March 4, 1956.2

John Weaver, living in Kansas; and four step-children, Mrs. Ona Hunt of Kokomo, Mrs. Helen Baim of Harrisburg, Pa., Homer Lamb of Bluffton, and Gene Lamb of California. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Ellers funeral chapel with the Rev. Everett Nixon officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn cemetery, Greentown. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Saturday. on August 6, 1948.4

He was married Sept. 20, 1899, to Rosa Overman, who died April 16, 1955. Most of his life was spent near Phlox, Ind. The deceased was a blacksmith by trade and a member of the Separate Baptist Church at Phlox. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lida McQuiston, of Kokomo; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Murray, of Warren, Ind., Mrs. Debbie Anderson, of Kokomo, and Mrs. Rhoda Bragg, of Marion; two brothers, Estell Stephens, of Marion, and Oren Stephens, of Center, Ind; 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Separate Baptist Church at Phlox with the Rev. Harry Case officiating. Burial will be in Forks of the Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the Mast and Pickett Funeral Home in Greentown after 1 p.m. Thursday. on August 2, 1956.6

Lamb, 83, a resident of Phlox, died at 4:40 a.m. Tuesday in the St. Joseph Hospital, following a cerebral hemorrhage suffered last Saturday morning. Mrs. Lamb was born in Howard County and had lived in this area all her life. She was the daughter of Lewis and Nancy Stephens. In 1892 she married Frank Lamb who died Oct. 17, 1946. Surviving are six children: Mrs. Roscoe Hinkle and Mrs. Elgie Gillam, Kokomo; Mrs. Eddie Packard, Marion; Fay Lamb, Greentown, Ben Lamb, Denver and Fred Underriner, son of a former marriage, whose address is unknown. Two children, Dulcie and Hollis, are deceased. She leaves also three sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Rhoda Bragg, Herbst; Mrs. Cora Murray, Warren; Mrs. Debbie Anderson, Kokomo; Andy Stephens, Greentown; Oren Stephens, Center and Estle Stephens, Marion. There are ten grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Mast & Pickett Funeral Home, Greentown. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the New Hope Friends Church at Phlox of which Mrs. Lamb was a member. Interment will be in the Ellis Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Thursday to lie in state until the hour of the service. on August 19, 1952.4 She died on August 19, 1952 at Kokomo, Howard Co., Indiana, at age 84.4
