Oscar was an avid golfer and hit the first ball (unofficially) on the new Castle Rock Golf Course in Pembroke, and was able to break eighty after he was eighty. He always had time for kids and was always the one that you knew would come when you needed help. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son "Butch" Oscar B. Dudding Jr. and a great-grandson, Joshua Dudding. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of seventy-two years, Lorraine Martin Dudding; his son, Benjamin R.
