Smith. Lee R. Smith, 78, was called home on June 27, 2007. He was born on December 29, 1928 in Gillette, Wyoming where he attended high school. Mr. Smith served his country proudly during the Korean Conflict aboard the submarine Sea Fox SS-402. He attended the University of Nebraska and ultimately graduated from Arizona State. In his career he worked for Continental Oil Company, Equitable Life Insurance and Ritter Oil Company, where he opened the Pronto Lube and Pronto Gas Stations. Mr. Smith retired as the owner of Border City Oil. Both he and his wife owned and operated AutoDriveAway. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Rolls Smith and his parents, Bill and Bertha Smith of Gillette, Wyoming. He is survived by his loving children Mike Smith and his wife, Lynnie, Heidi Marie Case and husband Paul, Lisa Kay Smith Nevarez and her husband, Richard, Andrew Lee Smith, Douglas L. Smith and his wife, Allyson, brother Lynn D. Smith and his wife, Donna. Mr. Smith is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He will be remembered for his loving and giving heart, being a great dad and most of all his wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. Graveside Service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Evergreen East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tribute Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942. Services entrusted to Martin Funeral Home West, 128 North Resler. on June 28, 2007.2
