Beulah Elaine Meador Elaine Beardall, 53, of Idaho Falls, died Jan. 12, 2001, at her home. She was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho. She was born April 25, 1947, in Magalpin, West Virginia, to William Wesley Meador and Beulah Madaline Long Meador. She grew up and attended schools in West Virginia. When she was 12, her family moved to Maryland where she graduated from Bladensburg High School in Washington, D.C. Five days after graduating from high school, she went to work for the Post Office in Washington, D.C., for 13 and a half years. While visiting her brother in Idaho Falls, she met Gary Lee Beardall whom she married Oct. 7, 1978, in Landover, Maryland. From this marriage, she also gained a 7-year-old daughter. After she got married, she made her home in Idaho Falls where she went to work at the INEEL as a Senior Administrative Secretary for 21 years. She liked spending time in her garden, cooking, crocheting, and the outdoors. Most of all, she was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She always looked forward to spending time with Colby and Torson, her grandsons, and was their biggest fan in all their activities. You could always count on getting a cup of coffee, a cookie, or the latest gossip if you frequented the Beardall home. She had many friends and family who loved her, and we will be better for knowing her. The family would like to thank Hospice of Eastern Idaho especially Abby and Elaine for all their special care. Survivors include her husband, Gary Lee Beardall of Idaho Falls; one daughter, Lee (John) Kramer of Idaho Falls; one brother, William Gary Meador of Davie, Fla; and two grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents.4 Her Social Security Number was 218-52-8616.1 She was born on April 25, 1947 at McAlpin, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.1,4 As of October 7, 1978,her married name was Beardall.4 She married Gary Lee Beardall on October 7, 1978 at Landover, Prince George's Co., Maryland.4 Beulah Elaine Meador died on January 12, 2001 at Idaho Falls, Bonneville Co., Idaho, at age 53.1,5,4
