Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at Hebron United Methodist Church with Pastor Danny Kesler and Pastor Emory Tarpley officiating. Interment will follow at Hebron Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2003 at Paitsel Funeral Home, New Castle. Memorials may be made to Craig Co. Rescue Squad-EMS PO Box 81 New Castle, VA. 24127. on October 27, 2003.9

Born in Montgomery County, May 13, 1930, Hugh was a son of the late Frank and Ida Henderson, of Blacksburg, VA. Hugh was an avid hunter and fisherman and he loved working in his flower and vegetable gardens. He was a beloved husband and father and a great friend to many. Hugh served his country proudly in the US Army. He was a veteran of the Korean War where he earned the Korean Service Medal, the Combat Infantry Badge, the United Nations Service Medal, and The Bronze Star. Hugh retired from Westvaco with 27 years of service and loved to work for the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memory, a loving wife of 61 years, Dollie Switzer Henderson; two beloved sons: Turman and Linda Henderson of New Castle, VA, and Les and Tammy Henderson of Rustburg, Va; two grandsons, the very special grandson, Hugh T. Henderson, III, and Jojo Henderson; two granddaughters, Gina and Mark Hamilton, and Christina and Jacob Falabella; and one great grandchild, Elise Riley Hamilton. Hugh was extremely well-loved by his family and a host of wonderful friends. He will be sadly missed by all. Burial will follow in Virginia Memorial Park. on December 4, 2014.6

William Todd Robertson William Todd Robertson passed away on June 13, 2025, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Todd was born on December 30, 1963, to Jimmy and Peggy Robertson. He worked at Carter Machinery Co., Inc. for 25 years before retiring in 2010 due to declining health. A man of many interests, Todd had a deep passion for cars, woodworking, and landscaping. He was artistic and creative, always full of big ideas—more than time or energy ever allowed him to complete. Todd battled chronic illness for many years but never lost his will to be present for his family. He will be remembered most for his unwavering love of family, friends, and his Lord and Savior. If you were his friend, he would consider you a best friend for life—whether he had seen you in recent years or not. Todd is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Peggy Robertson; his devoted wife, Tonya; his children, Tyler (Cheyenne) and Tori Luna (Joe) Sheffield; and his cherished grandchildren, Juliet, Aspen, and Bowie Robertson. He is also survived by several extended family members. He was preceded in death by his infant twin sons, Tray and Trent Robertson. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Desiree Lomax of Caring Companions for her dedicated care and support during the final months of Todd’s illness. Special thanks also go to Donna, Penny, and Kim of Gentle Shepherd Hospice for the extraordinary compassion and attention they gave Todd in his final days. We simply could not have done it without you. Todd is no longer sick, and he is no longer has pain, He is standing strong with Jesus now. His memory and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.4 He was born on December 30, 1963 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.2,3,4 He married Tonya Lynn Starkey on June 10, 1989 at Roanoke, Virginia.3 William Todd Robertson died on June 13, 2025 at Virginia at age 61.4
