Thurman Sr; her daughter, Bianca Thurman of Elm City; her son, R. Zalon Thurman Jr., and wife, Michelle, of Cary; grandchildren, Maxwell Hobgood, Thurman Hobgood, Margaret Hampton Thurman and R. Mr. Poff and Mrs. Courtney left yesterday morning for Tulsa, where services will be held tomorrow morning. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Richard H. Horne. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home, with no evening visitation. Arrangements by Richardson-Horne. on April 4, 1993.3
