He served as tyler of the Lincoln lodge for several years. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Saturday at Roper & Sons, Rev. Lowell C. Bryant officiating. Lincoln lodge No. 19 will be in charge of the services at the chapel. Burial will be at Exeter. Surviving are his wife, Marie; daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Cole Diers Henderson, Auburn, Neb., and half-sister, Mrs. Stella Crouse, Seward. on January 22, 1948.7 He died on January 22, 1948 at Lancaster Co., Nebraska, at age 74.5,6
