She was born on Feb. 14, 1930 to Claude and Freda (Wright) Yealick.She was a retired machine operator from Pap-R-Products and also worked at V.D. Colson's in Paris as well. She is survived by her son, Loren (Belinda) Veach of Albertville, AL; a daughter, Sandra (Mark) Bowers of Marshall, IL; two sisters, Clara (Richard) Scott and Violet Yealick. She was a wonderful, doting grandmother of five grandchildren who all enjoyed her specialty, homemade noodles. Her grandchildren include, Craig (Kristie) Morton, Angie (Chris) Zora, Shawn (Alisha) Bowers, Jessica (David) Pinkston, Brian Veach, Elizabeth (Tim) Sanders. She was also a great grandmother to eight great grandchildren, Trey Morton, Michael Pinkston, Andrew & Jacob Zora, Mackenzie & Toby Sanders and Chase and Keira Bowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Veach on Sept. 18, 2006 as well as two brothers, Merle and Paul Yealick and a sister, Wilda Keeney. Survivors include sons, Charles “Bud” Dean and wife Dorothy of Kansas, IL, John Dean and wife Debora of Martinsville and Alan Dean and wife Genettia of Martinsville, IL; daughter, Beverly Kittle and husband Butch of Fairborn, OH; and sixteen grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and four brothers. Mrs. Dean was a retired registered nurse. She graduated in 1949 from the Paris Hospital Nursing School. Betty had previously served as the OB supervisor at the old Charleston Hospital, plant nurse at Trailmobile, then nursing director for Heartland Manor in Casey, IL. She was a member of the Martinsville First Christian Church. on September 23, 2015.5

Todd Veach of McMinnville, Tenn., a son, Russell C. and his wife, Maria Veach of Morrison, Tenn., a daughter, Crystal R. and her husband Doug Malone of McMinnville, Tenn., a sister, Betty J. and her husband Charles Dean of Martinsville, and a brother, Vernon Veach and his wife Reva of Palestine. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Gina Boyd (Stan), Tina Overton (Jay), Todd Veach (Leslie), Miranda Edwards (Matt) Dillon Littleton and seven great-grandchildren. Veach was preceded in death by his parents, John Russell and Emma Washburn Veach, and two brothers, Earl and Leonard Veach.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Fenton, Leonard and Earl Veach; and his grandson, Jared Stitt. Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery. on November 8, 2013.4

Galeener, 63, of Martinsville died Saturday (March 29, 1997) at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Ind. Burial will be in the Blue Grass Cemetery in Martinsville. He was born April 13, 1933, in Clark County, the son of Ray and Ina (Newman) Galeener. He married Wanda Lou Veach in 1952; she survives. Other survivors include one son, Rick Galeener of Martinsville; three daughters, Patsy and Barbara Daugherty and Dixie Dudley, all of Martinsville; three brothers, Carl Galeener of Marshall, Rex Galeener of Indianapolis, Ind., Larry Galeener of Cedarburg, Wis; two sisters, June Denman and Janet Murphy, both of Martinsville; 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Galeener was a member of the First Baptist Church in Martinsville. on March 31, 1997.5
