Lawrence was buried at Hilltop Cemetery, Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia.5,4 He was born on August 14, 1877 at Montgomery Co., Virginia; On his WWI Draft Registration card he listed his birth date as Aug 15, 1877 and his obit say Aug 14, 1878.5,3,6 He married Rachel Margaret Turner on April 29, 1903 at Greenbrier Co., West Virginia.5,7 Harrison H. Lawrence died on July 29, 1932 at Hinton, Summers Co., West Virginia, at age 54.5,6 He HINTON, July 30. — Harrison Lawrence, 54 years old, died Friday afternoon at his home in Main street of heart disease. He was born in Montgomery county, Virginia. August 14, 1878, but when a young man came to this city where he engaged in the plumbing and contracting business, and since 1903 he has been connected with the Hinton Construction company. Before thc merger of Avis and Hinton, Mr. Lawrence served on the Avis council, and since has served on the Hinton council. He was a member of the First Baptist church and Masonic lodge. Funeral services will be held Sunday. Beside his widow he is survived by seven children, Thelma, Harrison, Jr., Sarah Francis, Ethel, Oliver Perry, Jack, and Thomas, and two sisters, Mrs. N. S. Seldomridge of Hinton, and Mrs. Horton Davis, of Brooklyn. on July 30, 1932.6

Born in Montgomery County, Va., Sept. 30, 1881, she was a daughter of the late Hosanna Byron and Nancy Ann Iddings Lawrence. She had lived in Hinton for the past 80 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Order of Easter Star, the Ladies Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and the Woman's Club. Her husband, N. D. Seldomridge, preceded her in death in 1948. She is survived by a daughter, Miss Lillian Seldomridge, at home; a son, L. N., St. Albans; two grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. The body is at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors hi Hinton pending completion of arrangements. on February 10, 1963.8

     Martha Jane "Jenny" Cole was buried at Geneva Cemetery, Geneva, Fillmore Co., Nebraska.2 She was born on March 13, 1851 at Missouri.2,5 As of February 8, 1869,her married name was Wolfe.4 She married George Russell Wolfe on February 8, 1869 at Scott Co., Iowa.2,4 Martha Jane "Jenny" Cole died on December 21, 1937 at Geneva, Fillmore Co., Nebraska, at age 86.2 She Martha J. Cole was born in Missouri, March 13, 1851. In 1868 she was united in marriage to George R. Wolfe. A few years after their marriage they homesteaded in the southern Fillmore County. Seven children were born to this union, five daughters and two sons. Two sons and three daughters have preceded her in death. Her husband passed on in 1904. Since the death of her husband, she has made her home almost continually with her two surviving daughters, Mrs. Bessie Marie Janes of Borger, Tex., and Mrs. Andrew Delaney of Fairmont. She was a lifelong member of the Christian church. During the past three years she made her home with Mrs. Delaney. She had been in normal health until about ten days before her death, when she took sick and was confined to her bed. She passed away Tuesday night, December 21, 1937, at the age of 86 years, 9 months, and 2 days. She leaves to mourn her departure, two daughters, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were at the Deleany home Friday afternoon, December 24. Rev. Isaac Cassel of the Federated church officiating. He was assisted by Rev. Robert Embree of the Methodist church, who offered prayer. The pall bearers were William Boren, Walt Lewis, Thom Williams, Conrad Dick, N. M. Condon, and Wes Bair. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. on December 30, 1937.2

     Viola Shrilda Frances Conner Funeral services were held for Mrs. C B. Ellsworth Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. James Ward. A mixed quartette composed of Mesdames Paul Givens, B.B. Grice, and Messrs. R.L. Douglas and Paul Chipps sang, "The Old Rugged Cross," "Ivory Palaces," and "Lead, Kindly Light," with Mrs. Elmer Slote at the piano. The pallbearers were Messrs. G.A. Engleman, Tom Hammond, Carl Halbeisen, Roy Stevens, R.N. Kronkright and Mahlon Eastabrooks. Interment was made in the Litchfield cemetery. Viola Srilda Conner, daughter of John Hamilton and Sarah Rosanna Connor, was born in Calhoun county, Iowa, April 28, 1875 and departed this life at her home in Litchfield, Nebr., January 30, 1945 at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 2 days. In girlhood, she moved with her parents to Brainard Nebr. On March 6, 1893, she was united in marriage to Clayton B. Ellsworth. To this union was born eleven children, Mrs. Marjorie B. Brower of Wichita, Kan., Carl W. Ellsworth of Shelby, Nebr., Lucille Ellsworth of Litchfield, Rose S. Swanson of Litchfield, Della Brandt of Salt Lake City, Utah, Eugene R. Ellsworth, Leroy T. Ellsworth and Minnie F. Hill of Litchfield. Preceding her in death were Clayton B. Ellsworth, Jr., who passed away at the age of 6 years and two other children who died in infancy. She and her husband resided one year after their marriage at Ulysses, Nebr. Later they moved to Shelby, Polk county, Nebr., where they resided for twenty years. While living here she was united with the United Brethren church. In 1920, she moved with her family to Litchfield. After moving here she united with the Litchfield Methodist church of which she was still a member at the time of her death. Mrs. Ellsworth was a member of the Litchfield Rebekah lodge which held a short service at the grave. She leaves to mourn her loss besides her husband, Clayton B. Ellsworth, and eight children, seventeen grandchildren, one great grandchild, two sisters, Mrs. Millie Robare of Hastings, Nebr., and Mrs. Caroline Caton of Sheldon, Mo., and other relatives and friends. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints" Attending the funeral from out of town were Carl W. Ellsworth of Shelby, Mrs. A.P. Brandt of Salt Lake City, Utah, Mrs. Mary Darnell and son, Sgt. Lloyd Darnell and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brink, all of Grand Island; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hempkin, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Neve and Mr. and Mrs. Ovah Hempkin, all of Thedford.3 She was buried at Litchfield Cemetery, Litchfield, Sherman Co., Nebraska.5,3 She was born on April 28, 1875 at Calhoun Co., Iowa.1,3 As of March 6, 1893,her married name was Ellsworth.3 She married Clayton Blair Ellsworth on March 6, 1893 at Ulysses, Butler Co., Nebraska.1,3 Viola Shrilda Frances Conner died on January 30, 1945 at Litchfield, Sherman Co., Nebraska, at age 69.1,3

     Caroline Conner was buried at Milo Cemetery, Milo, Vernon Co., Missouri.4,7 She was born on May 12, 1877 at Calhoun Co., Iowa.2,4,7 As of July 5, 1903,her married name was Caton.2,5 She married Fred Edmond Caton on July 5, 1903 at Vernon Co., Missouri.2,4,8,5,6,7 Caroline Conner died on April 24, 1958 at Milo, Vernon Co., Missouri, at age 80.4,7 She Mrs. Fred (Caroline) Caton, 81, of Milo, former resident of Nevada, died at 10:10 o'clock last night at the Nevada Hospital. Mrs. Caton suffered a stroke and had entered the hospital only a few hours before her death. She was born in Iowa, May 12, 1877, the daughter of John and Sarah Wyant Conner. On July 5, 1903, she was married in Nevada to Fred Caton, who died in February. Prior to her husband's death Mrs. Caton had lived in Nevada, and since that time she has made her home in Milo with her daughter, Mrs. Ollie McClellan. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Nevada. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ollie McClellan of Milo; one son, Orvelle Caton, Chanute, Kan; one sister, Mrs. Millie Robare, Hastings, Neb. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Monday afternoon at the Milo Christian Church, and burial will be in the Milo Cemetery. The Rev. Pliney H. Elliott of Nevada will officiate. The body will lie in state until Monday at the Beeny Funeral Home in Sheldon. on April 25, 1958.7
