She was born in Sullivan County, a daughter to the late Harvey and Minnie Bell Chambers Harris. Mary Jane was a lifelong resident of the area and a former employee of Big Jack Manufacturing. She had been a member of True Faith Tabernacle for 35 years and was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Haynes Wood, and a son, Tommy Wood. Survivors include children, Gary Wood and wife Jean, Cathy Rogers and husband Doug, Denice Osborne and husband Doug and Rebecca S. Wood Miller; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and very special friend, Tammy Gobble. Committal services will be on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Rust Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. on April 20, 2009.1

Wood, age 71, of Blountville, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 12, 2015, at his residence. He was born January 19, 1944 in Newland, N.C. C.W. lived most of his life in the Bristol area. He retired from Ross Prestressed Concrete Inc. C.W. attended South Chapel Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora June Watson Wood; his mother, Nell Tolbert; three special aunts, Vinnie Carpenter, Lucy Sparks, Wanda Carpenter; and special uncles, Haynes and Jack Wood. Survivors include His Daughter, Christine Marie Wood and boyfriend Eugene Potter; Sisters, Patricia Cross and husband Phillip, Darlene Price and husband Frank, and Bonnie Moore and husband Jackie; Brothers, David Tolbert, Gearold Tolbert and wife Sarah, Bill Tolbert and wife Darlene, Ronnie Tolbert and wife Cindy, and JR Tolbert and wife Tina; Special Aunts, Gladys Arnold and husband Sid, Christine Booher; and Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. The interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Rust Cemetery. Pallbearers will be C.W.'s brothers.2 He married Dora June "Dorie" Watson.2 Clarence W. "C. W."
