Born on Sept. 23, 1954 in Norfolk, Va., he was the son of the late William C. Seay and Betty Jo Whitlow Jones. Mr. Seay was raised by the late Johnny Jones. He was formerly employed as a coal miner for over 23 years having worked for the Consolidated Coal Company at the Buchanan No. 1 mine and prior to coal mining he worked for the U.S. Government as a carpenter in the Virginia Beach, Va., area. He enjoyed working with his hands, wood working and the sport of NASCAR. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Anthony Seay. Survivors include his wife, Priscilla Ann Walls Seay; daughter, Debra Jo Seay-Arizmendi and husband, Chris of Virginia Beach; son, William John Seay and wife, Alicia of Virginia Beach; stepdaughters, Christy Dunford and Kevin Watkins of Green Valley and Jamie Quizenbeury and Jim Meadows of Princeton; grandson, Anthony Arizmendi; step-grandchildren, Laken Dunford and Kasey Williams; and his faithful companions, his beloved dogs. Pebbles, Frankie, Scooter and especially Katie. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where Jim Meadows, Kevin Watkins, Joseph Carter, Joey Carter, Mike Pennington and Ronnie Carroll will serve as pallbearers. on March 14, 2004.⁶
