Carol Lynn Miller married Rocky Anderson.3 Carol Lynn Miller Carol Lynn Pauley Anderson, 82, of Charleston, died on August 29, 2024, at home in Charleston after a long illness. She was born on April 1, 1942 in Charleston to the late Emmitt and Mary Miller. Carol retired from WV Career College and CAMC both of Charleston. She enjoyed fishing, playing banjo, guitar and harmonica and among all she enjoyed sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. She attended Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Elkview and later Springfork Missionary Baptist Church of Charleston. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson, Joseph Pauley Jr. Carol is survived by her sons, Greg Pauley of Charleston, Joe Pauley of Charleston, David Pauley and wife Sherry of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Tiffany Driggers of New Hill, NC, Izaih and Brandon Pauley of South Charleston; great grandchildren, Everley and Arlynn Driggers of New Hill, NC; her loving sister, Jane Coleman of Charleston; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loved ones. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. William Doss "Bill" Pauley Jr. William Doss "Bill" Pauley, Jr., 80, a resident of Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center, passed from this life Monday evening, March 7, 2016 at the nursing home. Bill was born Monday, April 22, 1935 in Charleston, a son of the late William Doss Pauley, Sr. and Bessie Louise Poff Pauley. On October 26, 1973 in Canvas, he was married to the former Pearlene Yvonne Ford, who survives. Bill attended the schools of Kanawha County and had worked as a welder and pipefitter with Union Local #625 with which he was also a member. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and making furniture. Bill was quite the storyteller too. He was a member of the NRA. Others left to cherish Bill’s memory three children, Jaqueline Pauley of South Charleston, Mark Pauley of Hurricane, Brian Keith Pauley of Charleston, five siblings, Barbara Jean Perry of Winfield, Homer Pauley of South Charleston, Harold and Darrell Pauley, both of St. Albans, and Thomas D. Pauley of Hurricane, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Bill in death were two sons, William Rocky Pauley and Dennis Gregory Pauley, and one brother, Lon Pauley.
