She will always be remembered as a loving and caring person who always put others' needs first. Her prayers were always welcomed and appreciated. Isabell is survived by her children and their spouses, Nancy and Jerry Nelson, Betty and Jerry Arnold of Charleston and Danny and Pauline Monk of Sissonville. She has nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sister, Thelma Humphrey of St. Albans; and brother, Boyd Poff and his wife, Betty of St. Albans. She was born in Amma, a daughter of the late Lonzo and Nora McGlothin Hess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald G. Poff; daughter, Nora Poff; brother, Earl Hess; sisters, Gladys Spears, Pauline Janka, Orva Frame; and grandson, Troy Holstein. Dot worked at GC Murphy then took time off to raise her family. She then went back to work at Bobby Brooks and then retired from K-Mart to care for her father. She was a foster grandmother at Winfield Elementary. She loved gardening, crocheting, quilting, reading and being with her extended family. She is survived by her children, Ronald Guy Poff Jr. and wife, Darla, of Hamlin, Janet Lee Perks and husband, John, of Red House, Hilda Edna Randolph and husband, Garry, of Goshen, Ind., Pamela Gail Napier and companion, Jack, Pauline Ella Holstein, all of St. Albans; grandchildren, Ronda Ward, Mike Thayer, her caretaker, Laura Thayer, Melissa Meade, Pete, Angela, Tracy and Clint Poff; and six great-grandchildren. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. on December 31, 2006.²

     Robert Carl Skaggs Robert Carl Skaggs, 68, of Greenville, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at his home. Burial with full military honors will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. Mr. Skaggs was born in South Charleston, West Virginia on August 12, 1943. He was the son of Kenna Skaggs and Irene Poff Skaggs. On December 22, 1961, he married Brenda Ennis in West Virginia. He retired as a Master Sgt. in the U. S. Air Force after 20 years and worked for Raytheon in Greenville where he again retired after more than 20 years. He also drove the Connection Bus in Greenville for senior citizens. Mr. Skaggs was a member of First Assemby of God Church and served as a Chaplin volunteer at Hunt Regional Medical Center and Glen Oaks Hospital in Greenville. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Skaggs of Greenville; son, Kenneth Skaggs of Campbell, daughter, Carla Jacks of Campbell; brothers, Larry Skaggs of West Virginia and David Skaggs of Caddo Mills; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Larry was a U.S. Army and National Guard Veteran and retired from Retail Sales after working in several stores in Putnam County. He is survived by his son Ken Skaggs, Daughter Lynna Skaggs, Brother David Skaggs, 5 Grandchildren Sierra, Elisabeth, Emily, Amanda and Travis and 5 Great Grandchildren Emma, Melody, Eli, Aiden and Ryder.      Garry A. Randolph was buried at Violett Cemetery, Goshen, Elkhart Co., Indiana.^2,4 He Garry A. Randolph, 64, of Goshen, died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, May 18, 2013, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was born November 19, 1948 in Charleston, West Virginia to Odie and Mourine (Hackney) Randolph of Millersburg. He married Hilda Poff on August 30, 1969 in St. Albans, West Virginia. She survives along with two daughters, Ronda (Ron) Ward of Estero, Florida and Melissa (Derek) Meade of Goshen; his parents; a sister, Rita (Grant) Farrand of Virginia, and a brother, Larry (Alice) Randolph of Millersburg. An area resident since 1969, Garry worked in customer service in the RV industry. After retiring he worked part time at O'Reilly Auto Parts. He attended Nappanee Missionary Church.
