Aug. 14, 2015, at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston. He retired from Kanawha Manufacturing after 40 years of service and served his country proudly in the US Army. Ray enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing fast pitch softball. His parents, Henry Milam and Ida Harding Milam preceded him in death along with his daughter, Deborah Kay Milam; an four brothers and three sisters. Ray is survived by loving wife of 48 years, Inez Carte Milam; sons, Randall (Samantha) Milam; daughters, Tina (PW) Strickland, Billie Rae Huffman; brothers, Robert, Gary, Jeff and Dale Milam; sisters, Marie Carte, Martha Quigley, Mary Slater, Brenda Webb, Nancy McDaniel and Terri Godbey; and his grandchildren that he loved to spend time with Evan Strickland, Emily Huffman, Lilli Woodson, Connor Strickland, Macie Milam. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Yacoub and the staff in ICU at CAMC Memorial for all they did for the family. Burial will be in the Carte Cemetery, Frame. on August 16, 2015.⁴
