He retired in 1991 with over 36 years with the CIA and worked for another 17 years retiring from that position in 2009. He and his wife enjoyed travel and were able to visit over 40 countries throughout their marriage. Mr. Dunn was an athlete having played high school football and basketball. He was an avid volleyball and fast pitch softball player in his early adult life in Williamsburg. He also had a real passion for his grandchildren spending as much time as he could in their company. In his later years, Jim spent a lot of time doing the family cooking and enjoyed this task very much. His other major hobby was reading which gave him a great deal of pleasure. In addition, he was a friend of Bill W. for 43 years. A private burial will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Richmond, VA. on February 8, 2019.4

     Debra Jane Long was buried at Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Road, Hanover, Hanover Co., Virginia.4 She HARPER, Debra Long - On December 4, 2021, Kennie and Debbie Harper celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. She turned 69 on June 10, 2022, and four months later, on October 10, 2022, Debra Jane Long Harper went to be with her Heavenly Father. Meeting her Savior is something Debbie had prepared for her whole life, and she shared the Good News of Jesus Christ with every person she encountered, whether family, friend or stranger. She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin C. Long; granddaughter, Kendall LeAnne Harper; parents-in-law, Rhyley and Mildred Harper, and a multitude of brothers and sisters in Christ. She is survived by her loving husband and soulmate, Kenneth Drew Harper; daughter, Angel Harper James (Bruce); son, Joshua Drew Harper (Allison); grandchildren, Millie Jane Wood (Matt), Savannah Page Harper, and Jacob Drew Harper; great-grandchildren; Levi, Ava, Raina Jane, Anson, and Quincy; mother, Shirley F. Long; siblings, Cliff Long, Bobby Long, Kim Johnston, and Matt Long. Numerous nephews and nieces were blessed to have her as their "Aunt Sissie." Debbie was a founding member of Mechanicsville Christian Center and served as the Missionettes director and teacher for 23 years. She also facilitated various Christian women's studies. Debbie was co-founder and music leader of the River Community Church, also known as Golf Cart Church. Debbie was affectionately referred to as; DJ, Deb, Debra Jane, Momma, Mom, Grammie, Gram, Gramarama, Graham Cracker, Sissie, and Miss Debbie. Many were blessed to call her a friend.3 She was born on June 10, 1953 at Richmond, Virginia.1,2 As of December 4, 1971,her married name was Harper.1 She married Kenneth Drew Harper on December 4, 1971 at Henrico Co., Virginia.1,3 Debra Jane Long died on October 10, 2022 at Mechanicsville, Hanover Co., Virginia, at age 69.3
