     Harold Lee Paxton was buried at Upper Pinch Memorial Gardens, Pinch, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.5 He Harold Lee Paxton, 82, of Frame, passed away of natural causes on January 14, 2019 at his residence. He was born on December 17, 1936 to the late Virgil Lee and Alta Faye Dodd Paxton. He was a graduate of Walton High School and retired from Sears Robuck and Company. He was an Army Veteran. In his younger years he was active in Little League, Football, Baseball, Softball, and Basketball. Harold belonged to the Coon Hunters Association and C.B. Club. He was also preceded in death by his oldest son, James Harold "Jim" Paxton. Harold is survived by his wife Bonnie Jean Ashcraft Paxton of 53 years; sons; Warren Lee (Jeannie), Harold Edward "Squirrel" (Patti); daughter, Jeanne Lee Huffman all of Frame; daughter-in-law, Janetta Paxton of Clendenin; 14 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and one more expected in April. His sisters, Faye Starcher of Walton, Barbara Skiles (Arthur) of Millwood, WV; brother-in-law, Ernest Ashcraft (Mary Lee); sister-in-law, Darlene Moore (Harold). A special thank you to all his friends that came to visit, and sent food and Prayers. To his Dr. Rohit Patel and to the Hospice staff. To all that helped in any way. Burial will be at Upper Pinch Memorial Gardens, Pinch.5 He was born on December 17, 1936 at Roane Co., West Virginia.2,5 He married Bonnie Jean Ashcraft on July 16, 1965 at Elkview, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.2,5 Harold Lee Paxton died on January 14, 2019 at Frame, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 82.5

     Don Delano Starcher was buried at Canterbury Droddy Cemetery, Walton, Roane Co., West Virginia.2 He was born on November 30, 1938 at Spencer, Roane Co., West Virginia.1,3,2 He married Leona Faye Paxton, daughter of Virgil Lee "Whitey" Paxton and Alta Faye Dodd, on August 7, 1959 at Charleston, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.1,2 Don Delano Starcher died on December 29, 2009 at West Virginia at age 71.3,2 He Don D. Starcher, 71, of Walton passed away Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009. He was born in Spencer on Nov. 30, 1938, and was a son of Stafford and Della Mae Nichols Starcher. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Stafford Jr., Joseph Guy and Eugene; and a sister, Chlora Mae. Don was a 1958 graduate of Walton High School. He retired from the Roane County school system after 23 years of service. He also worked at Spencer Newspaper for 27 years, as well as working for Carl Smith and Eureka Pipelines. Don was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting with family and friends, ATV riding and watching the Roane Raiders and Walton Tigers. Don was recently recognized in the first Hall of Fame of Roane County High School for volunteer work on Raider Stadiums. He was a former chief of the Walton Volunteer Fire Department and past president of the Walton Civic Club. Don was active with the Walton Athletic Boosters as well as Walton Middle School Athletic Boosters. He was instrumental in the building of the Walton Alumni Field House and Walton Middle School and the Walton Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Leona Faye Paxton; daughter and her husband, Cathy and Vincent Parsons; son and his wife, Roger and Kristina; grandchildren, Aaron Parsons and Clarissa and Chase Starcher, all of Walton; brother, Kenny of Spencer; and sisters, Betty Buchanan of Akron, Ohio, Wanda Whited of St. Albans and Ruth Gandee of Nitro. Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Walton Union Church with the Rev. Jerry Board officiating. Burial will be in Droddy-Canterbury Cemetery, Walton. on December 31, 2009.2
