Buck and wife, Laurie, of Greenville, S.C; two daughters, Amanda Olsen and husband, Brent, of Milton and Jamie Tunnicliff and husband, Max, of Cincinnati; his mother, Nadine Buck of Terre Haute; two sisters, Paulette Cottrell and husband, Bob, of Rosedale and Peggy Stone and husband, John, of Overland Park, Kan; two grandchildren, Zak Starr and Faith Starr; two expectant grandchildren; two nieces; and two nephews. He was a graduate of Wiley High School. He received his degree in agri-economics from the University of Kentucky. He was a lifelong farmer with his uncle, Bill Starr. In 2002, he received the Master Farmer Award. He was a cooperative member of the board of directors for Bob Jones University in Greenville. He was president of Valley Grove Cemetery Association. He was a member of Alpha Gamma Ro fraternity and Community Bible Church in Milton. Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday in Community Bible Church, with the Rev. Jim Matson officiating. Burial is in Valley Grove Cemetery in Milton. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the church. Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City assisted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Harvest Teen Rally, 6747 Crawford Road, Milton, IN 47357.
