Born November 27, 1928, at Boaz, WI, she was the daughter of the late Ernest William and Marie Hoeneveld Koch. Ada was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Ripplemead, VA. She received her Doctorate in music and was a school teacher in Boaz, WI. She served as a Missionary in the Philippines for over 45 years in several capacities. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 10 brothers; she was the last survivor of her immediate family. Survivors include her husband, Dr. James Lacy Parker; one son, James Dean Parker from Charleston, WV; one daughter, Patti Arboneda and husband Weng of Peterstown, WV; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.4 She was born on November 27, 1928 at Boaz, Richland Co., Wisconsin.5,4 As of August 23, 1953,her married name was Parker.1 She married Dr. James Lacy Parker, son of William Oscar Parker and Lura H.      Russell Lee Hawks Russell Lee Hawks, age 75, of Ballard, WV, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019, at the Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA. Born November 8, 1943, in Greenville, WV, he was the son of the late John Wallace Hawks and Ruth Marie Parker Hawks. Russell was a member of the Hans Creek Union Church in Greenville, WV, and former employee of Celanese in Narrows, VA. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Judy Mann Hawks; two sons, Tony Hawks and wife Ellen of Oak Ridge, TN, and Kevin Hawks of Ballard, WV; one sister, Irene Larew and husband Wib of Greenville, WV; three grandchildren, Alexandra and fiancé Brad Simpkins, Sydney, and Courtney; and special nieces, Gabby and Emma Mann.
