Eanes Lipham, 82, of North East, Md., died Friday of Parkinson's disease. Mrs. Lipham retired in 1975 after 21 years at the comptrollers office at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Earlier, she worked for the American Store, North East, and Triumph Explosives, Elkton. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, North East, and had been a member of North East Senior Citizens. She enjoyed traveling and playing dominoes. Her husband, Harvey J. Lipham, died in 1986. Mrs. Lipham is survived by a son, Norman A. Eanes of North East; two brothers, Charles Puschell of North East and John Puschell of LaCross, Wis; four sisters, Elizabeth McDowell, Esther Hokuf and Inez Diehl, all of North East, and Kathryn Moore of Smyrna, Del; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Burial will be in North East Methodist Cemetery. on July 16, 1994.³

He was born on June 18, 1935, in North East, MD, to the late Norman Wade Eanes and Ethel (Puschell) Eanes-Lipham. He was a 1955 graduate of North East High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1960, stationed in Alaska, and was there when Alaska became the 49th state. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Doris, daughter Connie Eanes-Keene, son Kenneth (Doris), grandson Kenneth (Kristy) and two great-grandchildren, Bronson and Piper. Also survived by his Stepmother Jean Poff of Christiansburg, VA, and three half-sisters Bonnie, Shirlene and Rebecca, all of Virginia. Norman worked several different jobs during his working years, retiring from Health and Human Services, Perry Point, MD. He enjoyed spending time with his family (especially his great-grandchildren), volunteering at the Turkey Point Light Station and going to Chincoteague, VA. Funeral services will be private. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at a later date. on September 22, 2015.¹

     Robert Wayne Bishop Bob "Zipper" Bishop, 78, of Pulaski, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023. He retired from L.H. Corp as a machinist. Zipper was preceded in death by his parents, Waddie Bishop and Clydia Roop Altizer; brothers, Richard and Waddie, Jr; and sister, Frances. Survivors include his wife, Robalene Litchford Bishop; sons, Michael Bishop and Shannon Bishop (Sabrina); grandchildren, Kelsey, Samantha (Torib), Sidney, and Dakota; great grandchildren, Luke and Zoe; special caregivers, Kendra Barrett, Carnida Barker, and Angie Akers; and many other relatives and friends.      Teresa Ann Jones Teresa Ann Wimmer, Aug 28, 1965 - Jan 5, 2026. Teresa Ann Jones Davis Wimmer, 60, of New Castle, left our earthly world to join her loved ones on Monday, January 5, 2026. Born in Roanoke, VA, to Cecil and Shirley Jones, she was the only daughter in a house of 4 brothers. She grew into a life of adventure, becoming a loving mother to 5. She cherished family above all, loved fiercely, and always put others before herself. She was a talented cook, baker, and crafter, instilling many of her talents in her children and grandchildren, sharing all her love over cups of coffee. She valued helping others, even working in construction in LA after Hurricane Katrina to help rebuild. She was loved by so many, always willing to answer her phone to lend an ear or presence when others needed love and support. She was incredibly proud of all her children. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil James Jones and Shirley Ann Smith (Jones), and three brothers, James Albert Jones, Jr., James (Jimmy) Franklin Jones Jr., and Anthony Wayne Jones, and her baby boy, Gregory Lee Davis. She is survived by her uncles, Roger and Sammy Smith, her brother and friend, Ronald Lee Jones of New Castle in their shared home, and her children, Christopher Todd Jones, Dustin Daniel Davis (Emily Talley), Hanna Wimmer (Donna Kleene), and Faith Stebar (Justin Stebar). She leaves behind a special best friend, Helen Colp, and her landlord and good friends Tommy and Rhonda Zimmerman, who helped make many accommodations for her to stay in her home as long as possible. She was a stubborn lady, keeping her high spirits and making her own choices until the very end, leaving this world loved and surrounded by her children.³ She was born on August 28, 1965 at Roanoke, Virginia.³ As of December 11, 1997,her married name was Wimmer.¹ She married David Charles Wimmer, son of Charlie Willard Wimmer and Colleen Virginia Keith, on December 11, 1997 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ Teresa Ann Jones and David Charles Wimmer were divorced on October 21, 2003 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.² Teresa Ann Jones died on January 5, 2026 at Virginia at age 60.³

     Emily Marie Jones was buried at Fair View Cemetery, 3300 Melrose Ave. N.W., Roanoke, Virginia.² She was born on March 17, 1944 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,3 She married Elwood Damon "Woody" Dooley, son of Damon Odell Dooley and Elizabeth Lucille Steber, on March 23, 1962 at Roanoke, Virginia.¹ As of March 23, 1962,her married name was Dooley.¹ Emily Marie Jones died on July 25, 2008 at Virginia at age 64.^3,2 She Emily Marie Jones Dooley, 64, of Roanoke, went to be with her heavenly Father Friday, July 25, 2008. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Wilson and Big Dale, Melissa Dooley and Shorty; grandchildren, Rocky and Dale Dooley, Joseph and Clifton Delp, Lisa Tedder and Thomas, Gregory and Dustin Delp; seven greatgrandchildren; and several siblings.
