He was employed for 20 years as a substation mechanic by the Indiana & Michigan Electric Co. He married Nancy A. Lieser in Granger Oct. 13, 1962. She survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Patricia Ann, and one son, Scott Allyn, both at home; one sister, Mrs. Norma Hillman of Lakeland, Fla., and his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Rogers of Lakeland. Rogers was a member of the American Legion post in Edwardsburg. on March 25, 1976.⁵

Phillips, 89, of Silverbrook Manor, Niles, formerly of Mishawaka, who died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the nursing home, will be Friday. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Phillips was born June 16, 1905, in South Bend. In 1921, in St. Joseph, she married Cloyd Phillips Sr. He died in 1962. She is survived by a daughter, Mary L. LeMon of Mishawaka; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Donnabelle Wegner of Mishawaka and Mary Ella Jesse of South Bend; and a brother, Delbert Ameigh of Baroda. Two daughters and a son preceded her in death. She was a member of Northside Church of the Nazarene, Elkhart. on March 21, 1995.³

     Mary Louise Phillips was buried at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.⁸ She was born on September 9, 1921 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.^2,3 As of November 7, 1942,her married name was LeMon.⁴ She married Robert Earl LeMon on November 7, 1942 at St. Joseph Co., Indiana.^6,4 Mary Louise Phillips died on June 4, 2016 at Mishawaka, St. Joseph Co., Indiana, at age 94.⁸ She Mary Louise Phillips LeMon. MISHAWAKA - Born in South Bend, Indiana, on September 9, 1921, to Cloyd and Gladys Phillips, Mary had two sisters, Evelyn Smith and Ellen Paszli, and a brother, Cloyd, Jr., all deceased. On November 7, 1942, she married Robert Earl LeMon. He died on January 29, 2008, in Hawaii after 61 years of marriage. Mary and Robert had three children, Ruth Ann Limtiaco, who resides in Honolulu, Hawaii, Richard Earl LeMon of Tallahassee, Florida, and a son, Robert Charles LeMon, who died in 1971 on Guam. Other survivors include a daughter-in-law, Jane Fox LeMon of Tallahassee; a granddaughter-in-law, Elizabeth Limtiaco of Honolulu; six grandchildren, Kimberly Limtiaco Doney, Matthew Limtiaco, Keiko LeMon, Jesse LeMon, Gavin LeMon and Dylan LeMon; and three great-grandchildren, Liam Doney, Abram Limtiaco and Remy Limtiaco; a niece, Evelyn Knudson, and two nephews, David and Mark Paszli of Arizona. Mary was a lifetime member of East Methodist Church in Mishawaka, Indiana, and was active there in the United Women's Society and church choir for many years. She was a former member of St. Joseph Valley Watercolor Society, the Tallahassee Watercolor Society and the Hawaii Watercolor Society. She remained an active watercolorist well into her 90s. One of her greatest pleasures was sharing her paintings with friends and family. She taught watercolor painting at the Hawaii Kai Retirement Community, and to her granddaughter-in-law, Elizabeth Limtiaco. She will be greatly missed by her family in Hawaii, Indiana, Florida and Arizona, and by many friends throughout the United States. She was a loving, supportive force in all our lives. Phillips died on November 13, 1957 at Michigan City, LaPorte Co., Indiana, at age 34.^5,6 She Mrs. Evelyn Phillips Smith, of Michigan City, a former resident of Mishawaka, died at 11:15 a.m.. Wednesday in St. Anthony's Hospital in that city. She had been ill for the last year. Mrs. Smith was born in Mishawaka, Sept. 30, 1923, and lived here until her marriage to Henry Smith, June 18, 1946 when she moved to Michigan City. Mrs. Smith was a, graduate of the St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing Education in 1945. Surviving are her husband; one son, Phillip, at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Phillips Sr., of Garver Lake, Edwardsburg, Mich; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Le Mon, of Mishawaka and Mrs. Louis Paszli, of South Bend; one brother, Cloyd Phillips Jr., of Edwardsburg and her grandmother, Mrs. James Ameigh, of South Bend. on November 14, 1957.⁶

     Ellen Delores Phillips was buried at Resthaven Park East Cemetery, 4310 East Southern Avenue, Phoenix, Maricopa Co., Arizona.⁷ Her Social Security Number was 313-20-4738.³ She was born on September 30, 1923 at Mishawaka, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.^3,6,5 As of February 2, 1950,her married name was Paszli.⁶ She married Louis Joseph Paszli on February 2, 1950 at St. Joseph Co., Indiana.⁶ Ellen Delores Phillips died on August 25, 1984 at Prescott, Yavapai Co., Arizona, at age 60.^3,6 She Word has been received of the death of Ellen D. Paszli, 60, of Tempe, Ariz., formerly of South Bend, who died Saturday morning in Prescott, Ariz. She was born Sept 30, 1923, in Mishawaka and had lived in the area 50 years before moving to Arizona. On Feb 2, 1950, as Ellen Phillips, she married Louis Paszli, who survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Evelyn Paszli, and two sons, David Paszli and Mark Paszli, all of Tempe, Ariz; a sister, Mary LeMon of Mishawaka; and her mother, Gladys Phillips of Edwardsburg, Mich. A sister, Evelyn Smith, and a brother, Cloyd Phillips Jr., preceded her in death. on August 26, 1984.⁶

He was born on March 5, 1926, in Mishawaka, and had lived here and in Edwardsburg all his life. He was employed as a data processor at the Bendix Corp., South Bend. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Robert LeMon of Mishawaka and Mrs. Louis Paszli of Tempe, Ariz., and his mother, Mrs. Gladys Phillips, with whom he lived. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Phillips was a veteran of World War II, a member of American Bridge Association. Hancock, 85, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Jesse was a member of Troutville Assembly of God and loved to sing in church. Jesse was Truck Tire Manager for Sears until his retirement in 1987. He also served in the United States Marine Corps in World War II. After retirement, his hobbies were to fix anything mechanical with his son Bo by his side. He had a love for nature and it showed in how he kept his farm in Floyd County. In his younger days, he loved to play baseball and worked with his brother-in-law, Bob, at the old Starky Race Track. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Vernon T. Hancock and Amer Belle Wright, brothers, Vernon Hancock, Steve Hancock, granddaughter, Penny Lee Hancock, daughter, Linda Hall and son-in-law, Tony Frye. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gail (Steber) Hancock; also daughter, Carol Frye; son, Jesse (Bo) Hancock and spouse, Linda; daughter, Nancy Lamb and spouse, Hondo; and his son-in-law, Junior Hall; grandchildren, Tommy Jennings and René, Tim Jennings and spouse, Janette, Chad Wright and spouse, Lori, Travis Hatem, Tracy Hancock, Wendy Friedel and spouse, Ted, Joe Hall and spouse, Stephanie, Geoff Glass and Ashley, Ashley Glass, Cindy Woods and Jessie Woods; great-grandchildren Katie Nagel, Roy Saunders, Austin Jennings and Freddie Jennings, Austin Wright and Avery Wright, Jaylynn Glass, Hunter Glass, Juda Hall; his sisters, Mary Mills, Betty Lou Moore, Joan Byers, Dot Carroll and husband Roger; his brother, Phillip Hancock and wife Maxine; and his faithful 4 legged friend, Misty.
