MISHAWAKA - Born in South Bend, Indiana, on September 9, 1921, to Cloyd and Gladys Phillips, Mary had two sisters, Evelyn Smith and Ellen Paszli, and a brother, Cloyd, Jr., all deceased. On November 7, 1942, she married Robert Earl LeMon. He died on January 29, 2008, in Hawaii after 61 years of marriage. Mary and Robert had three children, Ruth Ann Limtiaco, who resides in Honolulu, Hawaii, Richard Earl LeMon of Tallahassee, Florida, and a son, Robert Charles LeMon, who died in 1971 on Guam. Other survivors include a daughter-in-law, Jane Fox LeMon of Tallahassee; a granddaughter-in-law, Elizabeth Limtiaco of Honolulu; six grandchildren, Kimberly Limtiaco Doney, Matthew Limtiaco, Keiko LeMon, Jesse LeMon, Gavin LeMon and Dylan LeMon; and three great-grandchildren, Liam Doney, Abram Limtiaco and Remy Limtiaco; a niece, Evelyn Knudson, and two nephews, David and Mark Paszli of Arizona. Mary was a lifetime member of East Methodist Church in Mishawaka, Indiana, and was active there in the United Women's Society and church choir for many years. She was a former member of St. Joseph Valley Watercolor Society, the Tallahassee Watercolor Society and the Hawaii Watercolor Society. She remained an active watercolorist well into her 90s. One of her greatest pleasures was sharing her paintings with friends and family. She taught watercolor painting at the Hawaii Kai Retirement Community, and to her granddaughter-in-law, Elizabeth Limtiaco. She will be greatly missed by her family in Hawaii, Indiana, Florida and Arizona, and by many friends throughout the United States. She was a loving, supportive force in all our lives. Services pending. on June 10, 2016.3

Hancock, 85, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Jesse was a member of Troutville Assembly of God and loved to sing in church. Jesse was Truck Tire Manager for Sears until his retirement in 1987. He also served in the United States Marine Corps in World War II. After retirement, his hobbies were to fix anything mechanical with his son Bo by his side. He had a love for nature and it showed in how he kept his farm in Floyd County. In his younger days, he loved to play baseball and worked with his brother-in-law, Bob, at the old Starky Race Track. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Vernon T. Hancock and Amer Belle Wright, brothers, Vernon Hancock, Steve Hancock, granddaughter, Penny Lee Hancock, daughter, Linda Hall and son-in-law, Tony Frye. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gail (Steber) Hancock; also daughter, Carol Frye; son, Jesse (Bo) Hancock and spouse, Linda; daughter, Nancy Lamb and spouse, Hondo; and his son-in-law, Junior Hall; grandchildren, Tommy Jennings and René, Tim Jennings and spouse, Janette, Chad Wright and spouse, Lori, Travis Hatem, Tracy Hancock, Wendy Friedel and spouse, Ted, Joe Hall and spouse, Stephanie, Geoff Glass and Ashley, Ashley Glass, Cindy Woods and Jessie Woods; great-grandchildren Katie Nagel, Roy Saunders, Austin Jennings and Freddie Jennings, Austin Wright and Avery Wright, Jaylynn Glass, Hunter Glass, Juda Hall; his sisters, Mary Mills, Betty Lou Moore, Joan Byers, Dot Carroll and husband Roger; his brother, Phillip Hancock and wife Maxine; and his faithful 4 legged friend, Misty. We would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice for the privilege of keeping our loved one at home. We would especially like to thank Dr. Fintel, Dr. Hess and Diana who were so vigilant and never gave up hope.
