The family suggests memorials be made to Walnut Grove Baptist Church or Montvale Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 982-2221. on February 21, 2005.1

Kathy was a photographer and the owner of Shutterbug Photography for 20 years. She enjoyed her grandchildren, flowers, and her dogs. Kathy always had rescued elderly dogs that she loved. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Moore. Kathy is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jeffrey “Jeff” Conner; son, John Stuckey of Blue Ridge; daughter, Sarah (Cameron) Dalton of Fincastle; grandchildren: Emma and Jacob Dalton; sister “by choice”, Judy Kearns of Hollins; in-laws: Roy (Jenna) Conner of Blue Ridge, Doug (Julie) Conner and Robin (Mike) Branham all of Charlotte; and several nieces and nephews. Her family would like to offer a special “thank you” to Kathy’s wonderful neighbors: Brian and Angie Baker and Vanessa and Mark Houston. She was reunited with her parents, Howard C. and Edith C. Dudding; brother, Wayne Dudding; and grandson, Nicholas Paynotta. Linda is survived by her children, Julie Paynotta and her children, Christine, Melissa, Jonathan, Sarah, David, Joseph, Rita, Anna, and Matt; Teresa Paynotta and her children, Amanda, Michael, Lillian and Abigail; Nicole Paynotta and granddogs, Jefferson, Rex and Bel; Lisa and Rick Clark and their child, Ryan Clemons; great- grandchildren, Mason, Max, Grayson, Geoël and Trevor; brothers, Howard Dudding Jr. and Clarence Wright and wife, Kathy; one sister, Jean Webb and husband, Harold; her cat, Wenk; and numerous other family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at Oakey's East Chapel with Pastor Elmer Clemons officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
