     Michael Frank Correll Michael Frank Correll, Jul 31, 1958 - Nov 18, 2024. Michael Frank Correll, 66, of Belspring VA passed away peacefully on Monday November 18, 2024 with members of his family by his side. A faithful christian, Michael pastored several churches with a facebook following of his sermons. He lived his faith daily, offering love and faith to those around him. Michael was a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather. His greatest joy was his grandchildren. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 47 years Brenda. His son's Jeremiah (Kristen) and Matthew (Brandy) daughter, Rachael (Kalan) Campbell. Sisters Doris Correll and Dawn Baker. Brother Mark Correll. Step sisters Fay Duncan and Sue Edwards. Granddaughters MaryAnn, Ashlynn, Autumn. Grandsons Matthew, JR, Jaden, Noah Correll. His friendships spread from Virginia to Louisiana; and from Peru to the Dominican Republic. His love for family ran deeper than expressed, but those who loved him most, know the depth of his feelings for his family. He was survived by his best friend and loving mother, Colleen Moore; devoted stepfather, Marvin Moore; his brothers, Danny Moore and Darrell Moore; sister, Marlene Garman; and their families; and his children, Sheila Boyd (Robbie), Jason Cancino (Gena), Charlie Wimmer, Hanna Braelith (Roland), and Faith Wimmer. His legacy consists of nine grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; brother and sisters-in-law; aunts; uncles; cousins; friends; and special friend, Rifka Belkin.He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Wimmer and is survived by aunt, Doris Wimmer, of Norfolk; and uncle, Jimmy Wimmer, of Shawsville. on August 30, 2013.1

He was born on Dec. 9, 1954 in Montgomery Co. and was the son of the late Dewey Leonard Epperley and Virginia Epperly Epperley. Mr. Epperley was a member of the Pulaski Fire Department since 1981. Surviving are: his wife, Roberta Stoots Epperley, Pulaski; son, Cpl. Michael P. Epperley, United States Marine Corp and Fiancé Jessica Camper; daughter and son-in-law, Candia and David Cook, Pulaski; daughter, Brandy Meredith, Pulaski; granddaughter, Kaitlynn Cook; grandsons, Joshua Cook, Justin, Jordan, Jeremy Ferguson; sister and brother-in-law, Norma Jean and James Smith, Dublin; brothers, Wayne Epperley and Margaret Wright, Hiwassee, Roger Epperley, Pulaski; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Sheril Epperley, Pulaski; numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Christiansburg on Nov. 13, 1947 he was the son of the late Dewey Leonard and Virginia Epperley. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth and Cecil. Surviving are his sons and their companions, Brian Epperley and Drema Davenport, and Casey Epperley and Christy Boerstler; Sister and spouse, Jean and James Smith; Brother and spouse, Wayne and Margaret Epperley; Sisters-in-law, Roberta Epperley and Sheril Epperley; Grandchildren, Brittany Long, Kameron Boerstler, Austin Ryan Epperley and Graycee Ann Epperley; Special Niece, Shannon Epperley; Several other Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 17 at 1:30 p.m. from the New Life Church of the Nazarene, S. Jefferson Avenue, Pulaski with the Rev. Desmond Barrett and Rev. Tim West officiating. He was born Jan. 11, 1953 in Christiansburg. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sherrill Epperley; his sons, Shawn Douglas Epperley and Justin Cody Epperley; and his daughters, Amanda Epperley-Conner and Tristen Danielle Epperley. He also leaves behind his precious, new grandson, Gavin Michael Conner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Leonard Epperley and Virginia Pearl Epperley; sons, Shannon Michael Epperley and Bradley Scott Epperley, as well as his brother, Kenneth Ray Epperley. He also leaves behind his two brothers, Roger Lee Epperley and Douglas Wayne Epperley; and one sister, Norma Jean Epperley-Smith. He shared a life-long friendship with his buddy, Robert Peoples. Cecil was devoted to his entire family. He was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and won numerous fishing tournaments. His fishing boat could often be found on Claytor Lake and Gatewood Reservoir. His occupation as an automotive technician gained him a reputation for excellent work and an impeccable reputation for honesty. Cecil was a kind, gentle man with a smile and a laugh that transcended many difficulties. His calm, unassuming manner was an inspiration to everyone who knew him. He will be missed and his memory will be treasured in our hearts always. A memorial service will be held at New Life Church of the Nazarene on the corner of First Street and Jefferson Avenue Thursday, Aug. 4. Visitation will be at 2 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. Refreshments will be served in the church social hall after the service. on August 3, 2011.3
