Epperly and Octava "Octavia" Beckelheimer, on March 8, 1893 at Fayette Co., West Virginia.1 Alonzo Joshua Nugen died on July 8, 1916 at Beckwith, Fayette Co., West Virginia, at age 59.2,4 He The community of Beckwith, Fayette county, was shocked on Saturday last when it was learned that Lonnie Nugent, a prosperous and widely known farmer of that section had committed suicide by cutting his throat. Mr. Nugent is survived by his wife and several children, his two daughters being successful teachers in that county. No cause is assigned for the tragedy excepting ill health, from which Mr. Nugent had been a victim for the past year, and it supposed that brooding upon this misfortune had unsettled his mind to the extent that he was temporarily irresponsible. The family are widely acquainted, and their friends in this community will learn with sorrow of their bereavement. on July 14, 1916.4
