Survivors include her companion, Thomas Frick of Hillsboro; a son, Richard Epperly of Westford, N.Y; two daughters, Rebecca Rudge of Mesa, Ariz., and Lisa Steiner of Hillsboro; five brothers, Keith Billing of Round Lake Beach, Ill; Clarence Billings of Mobile, Ala; Galen Billings of Winston Salem, N.C; Harold Billings of Ohio, and Bobby Billings of Illinois; three sisters, Etta Heath of California, Dorothy McCoy of Mountain Hope, W.Va. and Juanita Hatcher of Oak Hill, W.Va; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and many nieces nephews and cousins. on October 5, 2001.³

Epperly, 84, who resided with her grandson, Jr. McGee in Gobles for the past 16 years, died Tuesday at Westbrook Manor, Oshtemo. Burial will be in Kendall Cemetery. Mrs. Epplerly was born Dec. 22, 1899, in West Virginia. Survivors include: three sons Kenneth of Mendon, Wilbur of Huntington. W.Va., and James of Gobles; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Samuel, preceded her in death in 1975. on June 13, 1984.³

Epperly of Huntington; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. on July 9, 2004.³

James was born June 15, 1925 in Blue Jay, WV, the son of Samuel and Mildred Epperly. Jim honorable served his country as a Quartermaster in the U.S. Navy from September 1943 until April of 1946. Jim was an extremely devoted loving husband and truly loved his family and the Lord. He was always there for all of us and will be greatly missed. Interment will follow in Kendall Cemetery where military honors will be rendered. on June 2, 2014.⁵

Surratt, on August 29, 1958.¹ Floydine Cramer died on January 21, 2015 at Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Co., Michigan, at age 94.^2,1 She Floydine E. Epperly, age 94, passed away January 21, 2015 in Kalamazoo. Floydine was born September 17, 1920 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Louis and Lillie (Wright) Cramer. She was employed with Sears Roebuck & Company for 23 years prior to her retirement. Floydine was currently a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church. On August 29, 1958 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Epperly, who preceded her in death on September 27, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters, her son Jack Rose, her grandson Dennis Rose and stepson William Epperly. Surviving are her children, Franklin (Marybeth) Reese and Cindy (Glenn) Howes; grandchildren, Jack (Lori) Rose, Jr, Cathy (Randy) Spinneli, Jean Rose, Conni Howes, Glenn (Alicia) Howes, Jr, Jennifer (Kirk) Rodriguez, Logan (Melissa) Reese, Alex (Carrie) Reese and Drew Reese; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lois Sly and many nieces and nephews. Surratt, circa 1941.¹ Elsie Jane Yerkeson died on December 15, 2013 at Milton, Cabell Co., West Virginia, at age 90.^2,4,3 She Elsie Jane Epperly, 90, of Barboursville, W.Va., widow of Wilbur Tyree Epperly, passed away Sunday December 15, 2013, in Milton, W.Va. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born January 5, 1923, in Cincinnati, Ohio a daughter of the late James W. and Gladys Caroline Long Yerkeson. Elsie was a homemaker and a member of Central United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter Judy Byrom; two sons, Wilbur Epperly and Ken Epperly; five grandchildren, Jackie Pauley, Michael Borstein, Brian Borstein, Kerri Coffman and Kelli Fitzgerald; six great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Nichols, Seth Borstein, Parker Borstein, Trey Borstein, Allen Fitzgerald and Ian Corsi and a great- great-granddaughter Elycia Nichols. Elsie loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. on December 18, 2013.²
