Marie was born in Pulaski County to W.W. Turman and Mae Farris Turman. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law Toby and Annabelle Turman, daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara Felton and George Felton, Connie and Wiley Ousley, Katherine and Chris Smith and daughter Bonnie Jennings; seven grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.1 She was buried at William Harrison Farris Family Cemetery, Reed Junction, Pulaski Co., Virginia.3 She was born on December 1, 1935 at Pulaski Co., Virginia.1,2 As of August 22, 1954,her married name was Jennings.2 She married Harrison Russell Jennings, son of Harrison Leonard Jennings and Amanda Ellen "Mandy" Gray, on August 22, 1954 at York, York Co., South Carolina.2 Margie Marie Turman and Harrison Russell Jennings were divorced on November 12, 1975 at Carroll Co., Virginia.2 Margie Marie Turman died on April 5, 2018 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 82.1

     Tommy Neal White Tommy Neal White, Jan 1, 1947 - Oct 6, 2023. Tommy Neal White, 76, of Smithfield, VA passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023. He was the son of the late Collin O. White and Gracie M. Parnell White of Hillsville, VA. Tommy is survived by his two sisters, Elaine Anderson of Independence, VA and Angela Marshall of Hillsville, VA; his son Stacy White, daughter-in-law Zayra Arellano-White, and two granddaughters, Cupid White and Savannah White of Smithfield, VA. Tommy worked for NADEP NORVA as an engineer on the F8 program, then moved to the F14 program where he was the Senior Engineer in the Structures group. When the BRAC closed Norfolk, Tommy moved to the DEPOT in San Diego, CA. He later transferred to the Naval Air Systems Command where he supported numerous programs, retiring in 2003. He continued to support our country as a Sr. Aerospace Engineer Contractor for several more years. He was a loving Brother, Father & Grandfather, who was dedicated to his family and friends. He knew no strangers, he accepted everyone he met with open arms, and he treated them like family. A graveside service will be held at the White Family Cemetery, on White Town Rd, Hillsville, VA.2 He was buried at White Family Cemetery, White Town Road, Hillsville, Carroll Co., Virginia.2 He was born on January 1, 1947 at Virginia.3,1,2 He married Barbara Gail Jennings, daughter of Harrison Russell Jennings and Margie Marie Turman, on August 26, 1972 at Pulaski Co., Virginia.3 Tommy Neal White died on October 6, 2023 at Virginia at age 76.2
