Born in Sumter on January 4, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Tommy James Partin and Ester Mae Brown Partin. She was “Annie” to those who knew and loved her. She had an outgoing personality and was a friend to all. Annie was a member of the Newcomers Club, Sumter Baptist Temple, and an avid party and duplicate bridge player. Surviving her is grandson, Landon Michael Brown of Keller, Texas, and a special cousin “Butch” Earl Shuler of California, who joking says “Annie cheated me at checkers” when they were growing up. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Marion Lee Brown and her brother, Thomas Leroy Partin. Wheeler and wife Carla of Knoxville, Tennessee; and several devoted nieces and nephews. Burial and graveside service will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill with military graveside rites by VFW Post 3110.
