Leffell died on May 25, 2013 at Virginia at age 81.3 He Donald E. Leffell, 81, of Roanoke, left this earth Saturday May 25, 2013. He was retired from the VA Medical Center and served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Saipan. He enjoyed spending time at the lake with his family as well as restoring antique tractors. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Stella Leffell. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Barbara Leffell, daughters, Janice Leffell (Donnie), Cindy Ward (Charlie), Freda McKee (Bernie); grandchildren, Hope Perrin, (Scott), Greg Ward, Brian McKee; great- grandchildren, Cody and Mason Perrin; faithful companion, Dusty; sister, Leilani L. Cooper; brothers, Phillip A. Leffell (Alice), David N. Leffell (Donna) and special cousin, Punk Hall. Visitation is Sunday May 26, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. There will be a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. on Monday May 27, 2013 at Mayflower Hills Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Eddie Dean. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Carilion Hospice or the American Cancer Society . Arrangements by Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 540 982-2221. on May 26, 2013.3

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford C. and Mildred Crantz Law. Debra was a former employee of Community Hospital and Radiology Associates. She retired as a team leader at the Imaging Center due to her health. She was a member of Fort Lewis Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Donald L. Ferguson; daughter, Mandy Ferguson and husband, Brian Brantley, of Williamsburg; grandchildren, Austin Blake Smith and Aubree Madison Brantley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wilbur T. and Jean Ferguson, of Columbia, S.C., Barbara Leffell and husband, Donald, of Roanoke, Melvin Ferguson and wife, Judy, of Salem, Charles David Ferguson and wife, Rhonda, of Fredericksburg, and Glen Ferguson and wife, Stella, of Oregon. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to a favorite charity. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2009, at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road by Leonard L. Southern, Pastor. The family will receive friends following the service until 9 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home, 540-366-0707. on January 7, 2009.1
