     Ephriam Franklin Nedley Jr. Ephriam Franklin (Ephie) Nedley Jr. Age 83 of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020. He was born on January 4, 1937 in Melrose, PA. The son of the late Ephriam and Margaret (Eicholtz) Nedley of Tower Hill #2, Pa. He was preceded in death by his younger brother Paul (2004). Ephie really enjoyed golf (a 2 handicap at one time) and bowling, but most of all he loved fishing. He also had fond memories of his 5 summer trips to Camp Floydville, Connecticut working in the tobacco fields during his school years. He was also Co-Editor of the school newspaper (Redstone High School News) during his junior and senior years. He was employed by the Westinghouse Electric Corp, in Cleveland, Oh for 20 years as a Tool and Die/Pattern Maker before moving to Scottsdale, AZ where he spent the next 15 years working for the Motorola Corp as a Pattern Maker. He is survived by a son, Bryan and 2 granddaughters, Hailey and Kaylee residing in Scottsdale, AZ. A sister Lydia (Vavrek) Nedley who resides in Hinkley, OH. A sister margaret Ann (Palmerio) Nedley who resides in Norfolk, VA. A brother Robert (Darlene) Nedley who resides in Columbia Station, OH and a brother Richard who resides in Cleveland, OH. He is also an Uncle to many. Private services were held in Scottsdale, AZ.2 He was born on January 4, 1937 at Melrose, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania.2 He married Kathryn Sue Paxton, daughter of George Hershel Paxton and Maysel Marie Schoolcraft, on June 17, 1961 at Clendenin, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.1 Ephriam Franklin Nedley Jr. died on June 11, 2020 at Scottsdale, Maricopa Co., Arizona, at age 83.2

He was a retired truck loader for Kroger warehouse. Surviving are his wife, Shirley White; sons, Kevin and Jason White both of Quincy; sisters, Karen White Guistino of Brunswick, Ohio and Deanna White Hebert of Pembroke, Massachusetts; and half-brother, Michael “Mickey” Predojev of Pembroke, Massachusetts. Karen is survived by her four cherished children who made up the entirety of her world, Ian (Susan), Angel (Ed) Perron, Frank (Alicia) and Mick (Nicki). Beloved Grammy to Tatiana (Jon), Forrest, Jon, Sarah (Victor), Dominic, Bethany, Ava, Alijah, Francesco, and Gaia; the newest additions that have brought her immense joy, her great- grandchildren Gabriel and Cecilia; loving sister of Deanna White-Hebert (Jim), Mickey (Lek) Predojev; and dear sister-in-law to MaryAnn Ulrich (Tom) and Shirley White. Karen was preceded in death by her beloved mother Mabel Olive Jarrell and brother Larry White. Karen genuinely enjoyed being an aunt, cousin, friend, and neighbor to many. Karen accepted Jesus as her Savior when she was in her twenties and had a close personal relationship with Him for the rest of her life. She enjoyed sharing the Gospel with everyone she met. Karen lived out her calling by working as a care giver for the sick and elderly. Many things brought her happiness, such as her passion for art, teaching Sunday school for over twenty years, and surrounding herself with family photos and her treasured keepsakes. However, nothing brought her more joy than being a mother and raising her four children. Services and interment have already taken place at Sunset Memorial Park. on January 16, 2022.2
