Tyree; three granddaughters, Simone Tyree, Katrina Pippin, and Erica Pippin and her fiancé, Joey Maddox III, and a soon to be great-granddaughter, Amelia Grace Lannen. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Karen Elizabeth Williams; sister, Dorothy Jane Fitzgerald and brother, James "Pete" Williams. Jiggs was a Vietnam Army Veteran a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Norwood and owner/operator of Williams Grocery in Shipman. He is survived by his wife Jane Wood Williams, son, Tommy C. Williams and his wife Anna of Shipman; two brothers, Bobby L. Williams and Bernard E. Williams both of Shipman; one sister, Joyce Ann Williams of Norwood and two granddaughters, Megan M. Williams and Brittany M. Williams.      William Robert "Willie" Tyree was buried at Goins Cemetery, Amherst Co., Virginia.3 He was born on December 29, 1902 at Amherst Co., Virginia.3 He died on July 18, 1916 at Lynchburg, Virginia, at age 13.3,2 He Willie Robert Tyree, the 13-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Tyree, died Wednesday night at a local hospital. Heart trouble waa the cause of his death. on July 21, 1916.2
