Surviving are the following children: Clyde, Russell and Paul of Oil City; Mrs. Betty Durante of Kane; Clair, Willis and Kenneth of Clarion; Fred of Aspinwall hospital; Edgar of Sharon; Mrs. Lucille McFadden of Lorraine, O, Also surviving are two brothers Clair, of Endeavor and Oraline of Helen Furnace and 12 grandchildren. The body was taken to the Jenkins' Funeral Home, Clarion. on November 29, 1949.4

Y; two sisters, Mrs. Gordon Snyder of Lorain, Ohio and Mrs. Carl Durante of Fallston, Md; and four brothers, Fred and Edgar Hulings of Knox and Clair and Willis Hulings of Clarion. on November 10, 1967.3

Mr. Hulings had worked for 44 years for Owens-Illinois. He was employed as a machine operator. For eight years, he had played semi-pro sports in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Hulings was a member of the Clarion United Methodist Church, The Quarter Century Clue and Golden Emblem of Owens-Illinois and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 101 of Clarion. In addition to his wife, Jean, he is survived by two daughters, the Misses Cheryll Jean and Barbara Ann Hulings, both at home; and son, Daryle Clair Hulings, with the U. S. Air Force in Wiesbaden, Germany; two sisters, Mrs. Gordon (Lucille) Snyder of Lorain, Ohio, and Mrs. Carl (Betty Jane) Durante of Fallston, Md; and three brothers, Edgar and Fred Hulings of Knox and Willis Hulings of Clarion. His parents, four brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Thursday at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home, Rev. William McCartney, pastor of the Clarion United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Clarion Cemetery. on April 23, 1969.3

     Edgar Eugene Hulings Edgar Eugene Hulings, 83, of Knox, died in the evening on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 1996, in the Meadville Medical Center. Born Dec. 11, 1912, in Byron Town, Forest County, he was the son of the late Albert and Maude Stahlman Hulings. On Sept. 7, 1939, he was married to the former Ethel Leota Sayers, who survives. Mr. Hulings worked for Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Clarion for 20 years. He also worked for Knox Glass Company, retiring in 1976. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. Mr. Hulings was an avid high school football fan. He attended the Church of Nazarene in Cranberry RD 1. He had served as president of the union at Knox Glass Company for 17 years. In addition to his wife, Mr. Hulings is survived by two sons, Everett E. Hulings of Clarion and Albert W. Hulings of Knox; two granddaughters, Aubrey Hulings and Chelsea Hulings, both of Knox; and a sister, Betty Jane Durante of Bel Air, Md. He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers, Kenneth, Clair, Willis, Paul, Russell, Clyde and Fred Hulings; and two sisters who died at birth, Lucille and Pauline Hulings. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the William N. Rupert Mortuary in Knox. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rip Wright, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene in Cranberry, officiating. Interment will be in the Cedarview memorial Park in Strattanville. Durante of Pittsburgh. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. One brother, Kenneth Hulings of Clarion is deceased, as is a sister, Pauline, who died in infancy. Friends may call at the Hawk Funeral Home in Sligo from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Sunday. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. A homemaker, she had volunteered at Fallston General Hospital for many years. She bowled for 30 years, and was a member of the Eastern Star where both she and her husband were very active in the Shriners. She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Jennifer Rivet and her husband Tony of Pittsburgh, Jamie McClaine, and Jodie McClaine both of Clarion, and her beloved granddaughters, Ryan Olivia, 13, and Dylan Elizabeth, 11, both of Pittsburgh. Barb is also survived by a sister, Cheryll Hulings Ditz of Lenwood Acers, a brother, Daryll Hulings and his wife Mel of Bothell, Washington, and a number of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Thelma Campbell McClaine and William “Mac” McClaine, two brothers-in-law, Ron Ditz and Kevin “Bud” McClaine, and a nephew, Jacob McClaine. Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in the Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Hannold. Interment will be in the Clarion Cemetery. on October 14, 2017.2

Born Aug. 29, 1917, in Wild Cat, Clarion County, she was a daughter of William and Kathryn Myers Sayers. Mrs. Hulings was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Knox. She was married Sept. 7, 1939, to Edgar E. Hulings, who preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Everett E. Hulings of Rimersburg and Albert W. Hulings of Knox; two granddaughters, Aubrey Hulings and Chelsea Hulings, both of Knox; three brothers, Everett Sayers of Caledonia-Mumford, N.Y., Lester Sayers of Waterford and Russell Sayers of Summerville; and four sisters, June Cooper of Fairview, Myrtle Cooper of Erie, Shirley Evans of Elmira, N.Y., and Mabel Ringado of Mechanicsburg. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Sayers and William Sayers; a sister, Anna Mae Shrum; an infant sister; and two young brothers, James and Edward Sayers. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the William N. Rupert Mortuary in Knox. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev.
