Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sisters, Charlotte Weiser of Kane and Carol (Theodore) Bomba of Ridgway; two nieces, Julie Bomba and Carrie (David) Washburn, both of Ridgway; a nephew, Robert Bomba of New Paltz, New York; and four great-nieces, Emma Bomba, Neve Washburn, Phoebe Washburn and Theodora Washburn. A Mass of Christian Burial for Verna M. Maze will be held Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 11 a.m. at St. Callistus with the Rev. William O'Brien, pastor, as celebrant. Entombment will follow in the St. Callistus Mausoleum.1 She was born on July 6, 1932 at Kane, McKean Co., Pennsylvania.1 As of May 16, 1953,her married name was Maze.1 She married Raymond Maze on May 16, 1953.1,2 Verna M. Surviving are a sister, Carol (Theodore) Bomba of Ridgway; two nieces, Julie Bomba and Carrie (David) Washburn, all of Ridgway; a nephew, Robert Bomba of New Paltz, New York; four great-nieces, Neve Washburn, Phoebe Washburn, Theodora Washburn, all of Ridgway, and Emma Bomba of New Paltz, New York; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Maze of Kane. She was preceded in death by her sister, Verna Maze. A Mass of Christian Burial for Charlotte A. Weiser will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 17 at 11 a.m. at St. Callistus Church with the Rev. William O'Brien, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Callistus Cemetery. on February 15, 2018.2
