Scholl, age 93, of the Springersville community, passed away Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, at the Lincoln Centers. She was born Oct. 30, 1917, in Rushville, one of seven children of the late Cecil and Lillian Catlin. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and taking care of her flowers. She is survived by a daughter, Betty J. Harmon, South Bend, Ind; three sons and daughters in law, Lewis and Gretchen Scholl, Spencer, Ind., Donald and Golda Scholl, Connersville, and Paul and Peg Scholl, St. Louis, Mo; a sister, Helen Gladstone; and seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Scholl, to whom she was married in 1936. He passed away in 1987. She is also preceded in death by four sisters, Hazel, Betty, Rena and Ruth, and a brother Gilbert. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home with the Rev. William Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 4-7 P.M. on Wednesday. on December 7, 2010.²

     Joshua Seth Blevins was buried at Piedmont Cemetery, Rt. 11 to Shawsville, turn at nursing home, Rt. 637, about 8 miles on the left, Montgomery Co., Virginia.^1,4 He was born on December 18, 1990 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.^2,4 He died on August 3, 2010 at Floyd Co., Virginia, at age 19.^1,3,4 He Joshua Seth Blevins, 19, of Floyd, Va., passed away Tuesday night, August 3, 2010, from injuries received in an auto accident. A wonderful son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend he was loved and will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Boyd and Jeanette Hinkley. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother and stepfather, Kimberly and Calvin Lovern; a sister, Whitney Blevins, all of Floyd; stepsister, Felicia Lovern, of Floyd; a very special niece and nephew, Wyatt Hylton and Mollie Blevins, both of Floyd; several aunts, uncles and cousins including a very special uncle and aunt, Roger and Janet Bishop, of Christiansburg; two special friends who were like brothers, Garrett Martin and Brandon Helms, of Floyd. Interment will follow in the Piedmont Cemetery, Shawsville, Va. on August 5, 2010.¹
