He was a retired coal miner and carpenter. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Lawrence of Springfield, Ohio, and Lois Talbert of York, S.C. two sons, Linville McKinney of Leet and Chuckie McKinney of Proctorville, Ohio one sister, Erma Johnson of Chapmanville and two brothers, Jesse McKinney and Roy McKinney, both of Chapmanville. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday at Evans Funeral Home, Chapmanville burial in McKinney Cemetery, Chapmanville. on May 22, 2002.³
