She is survived by her children, Douglas Privett of Portland, Ore., Roger Privett (Patricia) of Burlington, Wash., and Elaine Knapp (Bob) of Palmdale; a sister, Janice Copus (Dick) of Sterling Heights, Mich; grandchildren, Meredith Fox, Stephanie Hansen (Rodney), Griff, Jeff, Alan and Bradley Privett, and Jacob Sutton; great-grandchildren, Brittney and Alyssa Fox, Jacob and Jordan Hansen; and numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Callie Lester; a sister, Ovella Phebus; and two brothers, Edward and Ronald Lester. Memorial service to celebrate her life will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Palmdale, 1051 E. Palmdale Blvd., with the Rev. John W. Schearer officiating.
