She loved ceramics, sewing, flower gardening, reading her Bible and watching Charles Stanley on television. Her loving family includes her son and his wife, Ordie “Sonny” (Carolyn) Sigmon of Beckley, West Virginia; daughter and her husband, Sherry and Joe Vestring of Wichita; daughter, Brenda Burwell of Newton, Kansas; grandchildren, Alisa (Krassi) Damianov of Wichita, Bryan (Rachael) Tarr of Fort Worth, Texas, Sunny Sue Sigmon and Jacob Sigmon all of Beckley, West Virginia; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Andrew, David, Jeremy and Elainey. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1977; son, Gene Sigmon; grandson, Walter E. Arndt III, and ten siblings. Eileen passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at the age of 96 years old. Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 9, at 2:00 p.m. in the Burns Cemetery in Burns, Kansas with Chaplain Tal Tittsworth with Good Shepherd Hospice officiating. on April 7, 2020.3

Furrow of Glen View who died Tuesday night of injuries received in a fall from a truck, will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Terry's Fork Methodist church in Floyd County, Va. The Rev. R. H. Todd will officiate. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery. The fatal accident occurred at 3 p.m. Tuesday on Crab Orchard Hill and young Furrow, who struck his head on the pavement after falling from his father's truck, died at 6 p.m. in a Beckley hospital. He was Raleigh County's fifth highway fatality this year. Born Sept. 13, 1940, he was a student in the fifth grade at the Crab Orchard elementary school. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Danny Lee; four sisters, Lorraine, Madeline, Beatrice and Gillean, all at home; and his grandmother, Mrs. Edith Dillo, Christianburg, Va. The body will remain at Calfee Funeral Home until Friday, when it will be removed to Virginia for services and burial. on July 29, 1954.1
