She was born April 24, 1910, in Wayne County, W.Va; a daughter of the late William and Nancy Rains Walker. She was an evangelist for a number of years. She was a member of the Original Glorious Church of God of Huntington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Poff; two sons, Charles Poff and Billy Poff and a daughter, Marie Parsley. Survivors include four sons, Ervin Poff of Las Vegas, Nev., Don Poff of Lavalette, W.Va., Arnet Poff of Lexington, Ky., and Arthur Poff of Summersville, W.Va; three daughters, Betty Cummings of Fostoria, Ohio, Wanda Mulligan of Ashland, Ky., and Patty Tackett of South Point, Ohio; 28 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Walter Walker and one sister, Alice Earl of Kenova, W.Va. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington. on June 17, 2004.4

While stationed in Naples, Italy, he met and married the love of his life. Eddie was the most exemplary patriarch of his family that adored her more than words. He is survived by his dear wife of 61 years, Maria Maresca Poff, his four children David (Teresa), their children, Jacquelyn Stack (Joey), James Poff (Ashley), and Jordan Poff; Daniel (Sandy) and his four children Jason (Katie), Lacey (Taylor), Jamie (Brent) and Chase; Adam Poff and Francesca Curry (Rob), their children, Adam and Madison; his sister, Lana Lester Baird, six great grandchildren and one on the way. He is also survived by his loyal bulldog companion, Prada. Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Add, his sisters, Frances Vaught and Shirley Vance and his brother Clarence "Bud" Poff. Eddie's family was his absolute pride and joy, he loved being "Daddad". He poured his heart and soul into his loved ones and every encounter with him left you with a smile, a soft heart and an ear full of the best life stories. He was a regular for coffee at the Westport Road McDonald's solving the world's problems for more than 40 years. Everyone Eddie met found a life long friend. In his younger years, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was so proud to serve his country in the United States Navy, retiring as a recruiter. He owned Poff & Sons Exxon, Marathon and Body Shop and served as a JNROTC teacher for Valley Station and Butler High School. His second retirement was from Luther Luckett Reformatory as a Sergeant. He was a father to few but a dad to many. A funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, "in St. Matthews" with entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. on August 23, 2019.5

She was a beloved mother and devoted wife to her husband of 65 years, Warner. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.      His Social Security Number was 233-18-5052.5 Allen Samuel Pack was buried at River Hills Memorial Park, 1650 South River Street, Batavia, Kane Co., Illinois.4 He was born on March 27, 1896 at Mountview, Raleigh Co., West Virginia; His death certificate has a birth date of Mar 26, 1895.1,2,5,3,6 He married Mollie Jane Poff, daughter of Augustus Price "Gus" Poff and Mollie J. Cunningham/Callahan, on October 6, 1928 at Mount Hope, Fayette Co., West Virginia.1 Allen Samuel Pack died on January 25, 1943 at Town, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 46.5,7 He Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Memorial Baptist church of F street for Allen S. Pack, 47, of Coolridge who died Sunday afternoon in local hospital. He was a veteran of the first World War and a member of the Moose Lodge 1608. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mollie Pack; two sisters, Mrs. Roland Jones, Beckley; and Mrs. J. R. Murphy, of Toledo, Ohio; one brother, Grover Pack, of Beckley six children, Virginia, Mildred, Jack, Grover, Charles, and Hubert, all of Coolridge. The body remained in state at the Keyser Funeral home until the hour of the services when it was removed to the church. Following the services, burial took place in the Coolridge cemetery. (He was apparently reburied in River Hill Memorial Park) on January 26, 1943.7
