Nora was also a former member of the Sophia First Baptist Church and Sophia Methodist Church, Bixler Advent Christian Church volunteer and the Kitchen Band at the Advent Church. In addition to her parents, Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Calvin “Jack” Murdock; son, Donald Calvin Murdock; brothers, Frank, Seibert and David Janney; and sisters, Helen Janney, Thelma Stover and Naomi Spencer.
