     Harriett Gayle Hill was buried at Graceland West Cemetery and Mausoleum, 4814 White Horse Road, Greenville, Greenville Co., South Carolina.3 She Harriet Gayle Craft, 71, passed into the Lords waiting embrace on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at home. She was born December 29, 1948 to the late Onnie Hill and Alva Patton. She was born in Covington, VA. Harriet was married to her late husband Alvin in 1968 in Woodbridge, Virginia and they had three beautiful children. They were happily married for 51 years. She was a faithful member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church for many years. She worked in the billing department for the Cancer centers of the Carolinas before she retired. Harriet or "Grammie" as she was known, was a family oriented person that was nurturing and loved to help others. She also loved going to the beach or hanging by the pool, loved gardening, arts and crafts, and was an avid shopper. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her three children: Tina Adams (Robbie), Daniel Craft (Erin), and Stacey Wilmot (Rob); ten grandchildren: Steven Abshire (Katie, Molly Tilley (Pete), Logan Abshire, Rachel Adams, Elijah Craft, Veronica Craft, Whitney Craft, Breanna Wilmot, MaKayla Wilmot, and Connor Wilmot; five great grandchildren: Sadie Clark, Jacob Abshire, Layla Abshire, Jaxon Abshire, and Emmy Abshire. In addition to her parents Onnie and Alva, Harriet is preceded in death by her husband Alvin Craft and brother Thorton Hill. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September, 30, 2020 from 11am-1pm, with the service to follow at the Washington Avenue Baptist Church.      Alvin Emmett Craft Alvin Emmett Craft, 72, passed through the gates of Heaven into the Lord's arms on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. He was surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Kinston, North Carolina on April 02, 1947, to the late Emmett Craft, Jr. and Nellie Tyson. Alvin was married to Harriet Hill in 1968 in Woodbridge, Virginia and they had three beautiful children. He owned and successfully operated Craft's Recycling and Disposal, Inc. in Virginia for 22 years. When he and his family moved to the upstate, Alvin became a supervisor with the Greater Greenville Sanitation Department. He retired from the company after 20 years of faithful service. He always treated his employees like family, loving them whole hardheartedly. Many of his employees thought of him as a father figure. In his spare time, Alvin liked to ride his Harley motorcycle, enjoyed wood working, operating heavy equipment, playing cards, and dominoes. He was a member of the Washington Avenue Baptist Church and a faithful attendee of the men's Sunday school class. It has been said that Alvin was in his element when he was on a tractor and digging holes. Alvin was helpful, giving, and loved everyone that he met. He was a prankster and a joker. Alvin also made a mean cheese bread. Alvin is survived by his wife of 51 years Harriet Craft; three children: Tina Adams (Robbie), Daniel Craft (Erin), and Stacey Wilmot (Rob); ten grand children: Steven Abshire (Katie), Molly Tilley (Pete), Logan Abshire, Rachel Adams, Elijah Craft, Veronica Craft, Whitney Craft, Breanna Wilmot, MaKayla Wilmot, and Connor Wilmot; four great grand children: Sadie Clark, Jacob Abshire, Layla Abshire, and Jaxon Abshire; and sister Arlene Hairfield (Steve). In addition to his parents, Alvin is proceeded in death by his brother Robbie Caudell and nephew Ryan Pizzeck.
