     Cindy Sue Custer Cindy Sue Hutchison, 50 of New Castle, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 9, 2014. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Cindy was an avid Hokie fan, she loved the beach, collected antiques and went to numerous auctions. She was preceded in death by her mother Carolyn Custer. She is survived by loving husband Marvin Hutchison; son and daughter-in-law Eric Blankenship (Chelsea); daughter and son-in-law Melissa May (Jacob); 2 grandchildren Landon and Laikan May; parents Bobby and Brenda Custer; 3 brothers, Robert Custer, Johnny Custer, and Tommy Crotts; 2 sisters Janet Scott and Renee Deck; mother-in-law Gloria Ann Hutchison; sister-in-law and husband Anita Deskins and Mitch; brother-in-law and wife Neal Hutchison and JoAnna; numerous nieces and nephews; and loving furry companion "Zoe". Interment will follow at Hall Cemetery in Catawba.4 She was buried at Hall Cemetery, Catawba, Roanoke Co., Virginia.4 She was born on November 25, 1963 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,2,3 As of October 7, 1983,her married name was Blankenship.1 She married James Robert Blankenship, son of Kenneth Allison Blankenship and Pauline Frankie Tripp, on October 7, 1983 at Craig Co., Virginia.1 Cindy Sue Custer and James Robert Blankenship were divorced on April 5, 1988 at Craig Co., Virginia.2 Cindy Sue Custer died on October 9, 2014 at Virginia at age 50.4

Jones, 14, daughter of Jerry L. and Caroline C. Jones of 648 Alleghany Avenue, Staunton, died Wednesday, December 20, 1995 at the Children's Medical Center of the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center. She was born February 24, 1981 at Waynesboro and was a ninth grade student at Buffalo Gap High School where she was a member of the chorus. Miss Jones had been a member of the Staunton Civic Dance company and a cheerleader for the Buffalo Gap Quarterback Club football team. A member of Central United Methodist Church, she was a past president of the Junior High Youth Group. Surviving in addition to her parents are a sister, Ann Elizabeth Jones of Staunton; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth E. Carter of Staunton; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer G. Jones of Roanoke; her paternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Goldie L. Craft of Roanoke; and two aunts, Dr. Ann R. Carter of Bethlehem, Penn. and Mrs. Samuel (Carol) Canode of Troutville. Burial will be in Thornrose Cemetery. on December 22, 1995.5
