Mrs. Holt was a member of the First Baptist Church in Princeton, the TEL class, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Rebekahs. She is survived by a brother, John B. Davis, a son, Richard Cox, of Narrows, Va; and one granddaughter. Services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ben Cox and Dr. Edward Stubblefield officiating. Interment will take place in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Ballengee.

Bibb was general manager of the Imperial Plaza Corp., Richmond. He was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church, the board of directors of the Virginia Chapter of Club Management Association of America, the Police Association of Virginia and the transportation committee of the White House Conference for the Aged. A veteran of World War II, he was a retired Marine technical sergeant. He formerly managed the Richmond Country Club and the Commodore Country Club, Virgina Beach, Va. Bibb held a lifetime membership in the Fraternal Order of Police. He served two years as president of the Tidewater Chapter of the CMMA and was a past member of the board of directors of the Executive Food Association of Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Born August 31, 1913 in Oak Hill he was a son of the late William E. and Mary Pack Bibb. Survivors include his wife, Arlene E. Howard Bibb; his stepmother, Mrs. Ada M. Bibb, Oak Hill; a son, William E., Richmond; a daughter, Mrs. Rosalie Coakley, Virginia Beach; four brothers, James T., Beckley, Carl M., Oak Hill, Howard D., Columbus, Ohio and Thomas Bibb, Cary, N.C; three sisters, Mrs. Mary C. Bigg, Hampton, Va., Mrs. Dora M. Kincaid, Oak Hill, and Mrs. Betty Jean Peloquios, Portsmouth N.H. and 2 grandchildren. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Oak Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. C. S. Donnelly and Randolph Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. on March 15, 1974.3

Anna Mae Davenport was buried at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.2 She was born on April 9, 1892 at Cliff Top, Fayette Co., West Virginia.2 As of October 8, 1923,her married name was Hutchinson.1 She married Raymond Grady Hutchison, son of Julius Clinton Hutchinson and Josephine "Josie" Howery, on October 8, 1923 at Mabscott, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.1 Anna Mae Davenport and Raymond Grady Hutchison were divorced before April, 1940.3 Anna Mae Davenport died on November 23, 1961 at Beckley, Raleigh Co., West Virginia, at age 69.4,2 She Mrs. Anna Mae Davenport Hutchinson, 69, of 107 Ellison Ave., died in a local hospital at 6:30 p.m. Thursday following a serious illness of the past four days. Dearth was attributed to a heart condition. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel M. Dorsey officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Born at Clifftop April 9, 1892, she was a daughter of the late William Henry and Mary Turner Davenport. She was a resident of Raleigh County for the past 56 years at which time she moved to Beckley. For several years she was employed as a sales lady for the New River Company at Mabscott and the Quality Shop and the Vogue of Beckley until her retirement in 1952. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church at Mabscott, the Bethlehem Chapter No. 71 of the Eastern Star and the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. Survivors include four sisters, Miss Stella Davenport, Miss Gladys Davenport, Mrs. Grace Gravely, and Mrs. Alma Shroyer, all of Beckley; three brothers, William E. Davenport of South Charleston, G. P. Davenport of Charleston and R. E. Davenport of Belle. The body will be taken from the Melton Mortuary to the residence at 4 p.m. today, and to the church one hour prior to the services. The Bethlehem Chapter No. 71 of the Eastern Star will conduct graveside rites. on November 24, 1961.2

He was a Boy Scout and a member of the Glasgow Volunteer Fire Department. He left Glasgow and went to work for Union Draw Steel Mill in Massillon, Ohio. Also, he was a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his father, John; brother, Ray; and son, Todd. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Blankenship; one brother, Wayne; and four sisters, Anna Mae McCallister, Barbara Pruett, Sandra Pritchard, all of Glasgow. He is also survived by his sister, Sally Bettinger of Louisville, Ky. Also surviving are son, David, of Carrollton, Ohio; one daughter, Nancy Contreal of Akron, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. At his request, he was cremated and his remains left in Alabama. Information is provided by Cooke Funeral Home & Crematorium, Cedar Grove. on September 23, 2007.3
