Justin Kraner 35, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away Monday, August 15, 2016, at Elkhart General Hospital from an asthma attack, surrounded by family and friends. Justin was born at St. Joseph Hospital in Mishawaka in 1981, and has resided here all his life. Justin graduated from St. Anthony de Padua School, and Mishawaka High School. He worked as a basesetter at Heartland RV. Surviving Justin are the two children, Jennika and Jorden, who resided with him, and he was both Mother and Father to. Fiance Jessica Hoover, and her children, Zac Kati, Aryana Hoover, Joshua Napier, and Jacob “Bob” Napier. His Parents, James “Andy” Kraner and Kathleen of Mishawaka, Brother Christopher Kraner of St. Charles, IL, Brother Derick Dirks of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Grandmother Carol Scott, of South Bend, IN. Justin is also survived by too many family and friends to mention. Justin was a giving spirit with a big heart, a lot of love, and an easy smile. He is also a hero as he is an organ donor, and will live on. Please also remember that over 2 million have asthma. Thank you to the staff at Elkhart General. I have no words for the those that were with us on this journey. Thank you to Stan and Granger Community Church, and the many that prayed for Justin from all over the country. on August 19, 2016.2

     Viola Bell/Belle Whisman was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.3,4 She was born on October 4, 1932 at Henry, Fulton Co., Indiana.2,3 As of September 8, 1951,her married name was Rogers.1 She married Herbert John Rogers Jr., son of Herbert John Rogers Sr. and Dorothy Mabel Phillips, on September 8, 1951 at St. Joseph Co., Indiana.1 Viola Bell/Belle Whisman died on November 6, 1952 at Mishawaka, St. Joseph Co., Indiana, at age 20.3 She Funeral rites are pending for Mrs. Viola Rogers, 20, formerly of this city, who was killed in an autotruck collision Thursday night in Mishawaka. She was expecting a child in February. The driver of the truck which collided with the car in which she was riding, Marvin K. Warner, 36, Chicago, was charged with reckless homicide, driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, disregarding a stoplight, and carrying a concealed weapon. Mrs. Rogers was born Oct. 1, 1932, in Rochester to Mr. and Mrs. Vonnie Whisman. Survivors are the parents; two sisters, Mrs. Leon DeVries and Drs. Richard Frick, both of Mishawaka, who were injured in the same crash; two brothers, Marvin, South Bend; and Edmond, Mishawaka; two grandmothers, Mrs. Michael Mathis, South Bend; and Mrs. Millard Whisman, Osceola. The family formerly resided in the Burton neighborhood west of here. Mrs. Frick, also an expectant mother, suffered multiple bruises and fractures of four fingers on her right hand, and Mrs. DeVries sustained hip and leg abrasions and an injury to her arm. Mrs. Rogers was thrown to the pavement by the collision and was run over by the truck. The car was driven by Mrs. DeVries. on November 8, 1952.5

     Robert Donald Hillman Jr. was buried at Woody Cemetery, Double Island, Yancey Co., North Carolina.4 He Robert Donald (Don) Hillman, Jr. passed away on December 31, 2021 at his home in Live Oak, FL from natural causes. Don was born January 11, 1959 to Robert Donald and Norma Jean Hillman in Honolulu, HI. Don grew up in Lakeland, FL, graduating from Lakeland High School in 1978. He then joined the United States Marine Corps. During his service, Don met and married his wife, Adena Jo Woody, in New Orleans, LA. Throughout his career he received the Navy Achievement Medal, Certificate of Commendation, Navy Unit Commendation, Navy Commendation, and various other recognitions. Don retired in 1998 as a Gunnery Sergeant, settling in Lakeland, FL where he began a second career with the City of Lakeland as a purchasing contractor. In 2005, Don decided to pursue further education, graduating with his Bachelor of Science at the University of South Florida in 2009. In 2004, Don found a hobby that combined his passions of technology and the outdoors – GeoCaching. Don, also known as FSUDad to his caching friends, held countless meetups, mentored new people to the hobby, and travelled the county finding the oldest or most unique caches. Don was also instrumental in creating the Trek Ten Trails event as part of the Friends of the Park Foundation in 2007, that has continued through the years. Don was also an advocate for dog rescue, particularly Cocker Spaniels. He was a sponsor for dogs in rescues and adopted several. He cherished the time he got to be “grand-paw” to family dogs. Robert Hillman is survived by his children, Emily Carder (Jon) of Tallahassee and Robert Hillman III of Avon Park, Florida. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Morgan, and his dog, Bella. He is predeceased in death by his wife, Adena Jo Hillman, parents, Robert Hillman, Sr and Norma Jean Hillman, and brother, Gary Alan Hillman, and several family Cocker Spaniels.2 He was born on January 11, 1959 at Honolulu, Honolulu Co., Hawaii.2,4 He married Adena Jo Woody on November 20, 1982.2,5,4 Robert Donald Hillman Jr. died on December 31, 2021 at Live Oak, Suwannee Co., Florida, at age 62.2
