Mrs. Dixson was born May 8, 1884, in St. Joseph county to Albert and Margaret Woolverton Merrill. Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Edna Merrill Briscoe, South Bend; and a brother, Floyd E. Merrill, Lakeville. Burial will be in the Laketon cemetery, Laketon, Ind. on December 31, 1952.⁴ She died on December 31, 1952 at Logansport, Cass Co., Indiana, at age 68.^2,4

He moved with his family to Michigan when he was one year old and lived his boyhood years on a farm near Cassopolis. In 1940, he moved to Mishawaka, Indiana, where he worked in middle management for Uniroyal for 42 years, retiring in 1984. Bob was proud of his World War II service in the U.S. Air Force where he completed 35 missons over Japan as a bombardier in a B-29 Superfortress. Among his many medals are the Distinguished Flying Cross with one Oak Leaf Cluster and an Air Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters. He retired from the Air Force Ready Reserves in 1964 as a Lieutenant Colonel. He was a life member of the Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons #130, a life member of the VFW and a member of the Retired Officers Association of America. He was an active leader in the Boy Scouts of America for 12 years. He will be greatly missed by a loving family, his wife of 65 years, Mary; and a daughter, Ruth Ann Limtiaco, both of Hawaii; a son, Richard E. LeMon, and his wife, Jane of Tallahassee, Florida; six grandchildren and one great-grandson; and a sister, Nellie of DeWitt, Iowa. A son Robert Charles "Chuck" LeMon, died in 1971. on February 3, 2008.²

In 1968 he moved to Arizona and joined Garrett Corporation. He retired from Allied Signal in 1990 and moved to Prescott. Louis was very active in the Catholic Church and Bible Studies in Prescott and Phoenix. His passion was flying. Acquired his private pilot's license in Indiana. After moving to AZ he continued flying private airplanes and received his license to fly gliders at Estrella Mountain. In the 80's he restored a J3 Cub. In the 90's he continued his passion for flying, building and flying model airplanes. He served with the 342nd Ftr. Sqds in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater in WWII. Louis is survived his sons David Paszli, Casa Grande, Mark Paszli, Tempe, daughter and two grandsons, Evelyn Paszli Knudson, James & Matthew Knudson, Gilbert. Sisters Katherine Kenna, South Bend, Indiana, Mary VanDusen, Litchfield Park. Extended family wife Phyllis M. Paszli, step-daughter and two grandchildren, Dr. Roberta Kreb, Allison & Stephanie Kreb, Maple Grove, Minnesota, stepson and two grandchildren, J.R. Revling, Geoffrey P. Revling, Tempe, Nicole Revling, Chandler.      Robert Charles "Chuck" LeMon was buried at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.^3,4 He Funeral services for Charles (Chuck) Le Mon, 25, of Agana, Guam; who died April 23 in a motorcycle accident on Guam, will be held Friday. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Le Mon was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Le Mon, 1024 E. 3rd. St. Surviving in addition to the parents are a grandmother, Mrs. Cloyd Phillips of Edwardsburg; a brother, Richard E. Le Mon of Los Altos, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. John Gilliam of London, England. Born in South Bend on August 20, 1946, Le Mon had lived in this area until 1968. He graduated in 1964 from Mishawaka High School, where he set a record in 180 yard low hurdles and was also a graduate of Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, where he "re-wrote" the record book there in track. He led the Western Michigan shuttle hurdle team to a new world record in 1967. Le Mon had been employed as a science teacher at George Washington Junior High School, Agana, at the time of the accident, which also killed his companion.³ He was born on August 20, 1946 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.³ He died on April 23, 1971 at Guam at age 24.³

He was born in Mishawaka on Feb. 18, 1924, and resided here his entire lifetime. He had been employed 10 years by the South Bend Range Co. On Feb. 24, 1950 in South Bend, he married Millicent V. Games. She survives, along with four daughters, Mrs. Clarence Clark of Mishawaka, and Donna Games, Roberta Phillips and Kathleen Phillips, all at home; one grandchild, and one sister, Mrs. Luther Jolliff of Niles. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Phillips was a veteran of World War II and a member of Mishawaka Post 360, Veterans of Foreign Wars. on August 29, 1972.¹⁰

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the V.F.W., Lakeland. She attended Victory Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Phillips. She is survived by her sisters, Virginia Osborne, Lakeland, Bonnie Whitcraft, South Bend, Ind., Patricia Roeder, Oceola, Ind; brothers, Gerald Inks, South Bend, Dale Inks, Dayton, Ohio, Roll Inks, Iron City, Tenn. on July 16, 1999.³
