     Coy James Shilling Coy James Shilling, 83 of Roanoke passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. He was born June 1, 1939, son of the late Bessie and Carl Shilling. He was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Shilling. He was a retired truck driver with Russell Short Excavating. He is survived by his sister, Clara O’Brien; brother, Phillip Shilling; niece, Kelli Herrington and her husband Charlie and their daughter Finley. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter D. Crouch, Jr. her parents, Merle and Florence Shepherd; and brothers, Wilford, G.C. and Calvin Shepherd.      Laymon Wayne DeWeese Wayne Deweese, 74, passed away January 10, 2022. Wayne was born December 4, 1947, to the home of Laymond and Mavis Dewesse in Floyd, Virginia. He enjoyed bowling, playing softball, and coaching. Wayne was a proud member of the Elks Lodge in Clovis. Wayne is survived by his wife; Carolyn Deweese, 2 sons: Thomas Gum (Emily) and Charles Gum (Laurie), 1 daughter; Dawn Burnett (Michael), 2 brothers: Thomas and Roger Deweese, 11 grandchild, and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Layman and Mavis Collins Deweese; a wife, Margaret Deweese; and brothers, Mike and Wayne Deweese.      Judith Christine "Judy" Bandy Judith “Judy” DeWeese, 68 of Elliston VA, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 26, 2020. She was born on March 17, 1952 to the late John Bandy and Hortense Barker Bandy Adams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Lynwood Barker. Judy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Thomas DeWeese; son, John DeWeese (Lisa); brothers, Paul Bandy (Debbie) and Brian Adams-Reed (Ken); brother-in-laws, Roger DeWeese (Sheryl), Wayne DeWeese (Carolyn); sister-in-law Faye Barker; grandchildren, Danielle DeWeese, Coy “Shane” DeWeese; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends; and last but certainly not least her little doggie Trouble. She will be remembered for her love of the Lord and her unending love for her husband and her dedication to her family. Judy retired from Boddie Noel Enterprises. Aldridge, brother Ingo Karlowsky, brother Sigurd Karlowsky and wife Anka, niece Silke Dachender, nephew Bjorn Karlowsky, sister Andrea and husband Reiner Gerlach and nephews Erik and Jannik Gerlach.
