The family will receive friends at Norris Funeral Services from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. He graduated from Classical High School in 1948 and from M.I.T. in 1954. He was very active in both of these class reunion committees throughout all these years. He served as a captain in the Korean War and he later retired from the active army reserves as a Lt. Colonel. In 1954, he joined his father and his brother as a principal in Mechanics Furniture Manufacturers and Lark Sales on Shrewsbury St. in Worcester. He was a member of Temple Beth El in Sudbury and for many years, the Beth Israel Synagogue in Worcester. He was a member of Level Lodge of Masons, the Worcester Historical Society, The Harvard Learning in Retirement Institute and was a reserve driver for the Sudbury Senior Center. Burial will be in New Town Cemetery in Sudbury. on November 26, 2008.3
