Ava was a graduate of Check High School Class of 1960 located in Check, VA. Her greatest accomplishment was being a devoted wife and a full time, stay at home mother to her children. She was a member of the Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church, where she served on the Women's Prayer and Healing Ministry and volunteered in many capacities with the church. In addition, Ava participated as a hostess with Welcome Wagon and later volunteered as Holy Spirit Hospital's Ministry Coordinator. Ava is survived by her husband John M. Ebersole, her five children Neal Ebersole of Mechanicsburg, Beverly West of Perkasie, PA, Joy Moore of Chesapeake, VA, Jeff Ebersole and Cindy Pereira of Mechanicsburg, five siblings Clyde, Doug and Joseph Conner, Esther Kiser and Wanda Minnick, 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Ava was preceded in death by her brother Harold Conner and by her sister Eleanor Ginder. Burial will take place in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Joy. on August 31, 2011.³

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Betty Conner. Sons and wives, Mike and Elizabeth Conner, Randy and Sharon Conner and Steve and Michelle Conner. Grandkids, Cameron Conner and Lynze Conner. Brothers and wives, Clyde and Carolyn Conner and Joe and Lois Conner. Sisters, Esther and Richard Kiser and Wanda Minnick. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Bobby Kelly and Terry Lane.
