G.W. loved the Lord and his church family. He joined Laurel Ridge Primitive Baptist Church in November of 1962 and was baptized in December of 1962. G.W. served as deacon for 60 years. He retired from Appalachian Power Company after 32 years of service. G.W. loved his family very much. Humor and laughter were a big part of his life. He enjoyed antiquing, traveling, and his Florida home for 15 years. G.W. was an artist who created beautiful gardens throughout his lifetime. He retired from Thiokol, where he was employed as an accountant. He was a member of Shelemiah United Methodist Church, North East, MD. He enjoyed golfing, carving decoys and fishing. Survivors include his loving wife, Helen Christine Lynch; two daughters, Patricia Brown of Richland, WA, Barbara Key of Hagerstown, MD; and one son, Michael Lynch of Phoenix, AZ; one brother, Robert "Bobby" Lynch of Bayview, MD; seven grandchildren, Heather, Brian, Erin, Angela, Danny, Mike and David; and eight great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 14, 2010, at 11 a.m., at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 S. Main St., North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 10 a.m. Interment with full military honors will follow services in Friends Cemetery, Calvert, MD. on June 10, 2010.2 He died on June 10, 2010 at Newark, New Castle Co., Delaware, at age 79.4,2,3

William McKinley Weddle was buried at Restvale Cemetery, 7529 Rt. 221, Check, Floyd Co., Virginia.3 He was born on March 11, 1898 at Floyd Co., Virginia.2 He married Susan Vannoy "Sue" Conner, daughter of James Mearmon Conner and Laura Byar Walton, on April 28, 1924.4,1,5,6 William McKinley Weddle died on October 1, 1944 at Radford, Virginia, at age 46.5 He Wm. M. Weddle, principal of Max Meadows high school, at Max Meadows, died Sunday morning at the Radford Community hospital after a short illness. Funeral services were held Monday October 2, at 3 p.m. at the Wytheville Baptist Church with burial in the Wytheville cemetery. Surviving are his wife Sue Conner Weddle, three daughters, Emmy Lou, Helene Lu and Roberta Lee Weddle; one sister and two brothers, Mrs. R. A. DeHart, of Floyd, B. H. Weddle of Massachusetts and S. C. Weddle of Blacksburg. Mr Weddle was active in both civic and religious affairs, a member of the Wytheville Baptist Church, teacher of Men's Bible Class at Anchor Hope Church, Max Meadows. He was a member of the American Legion post at Floyd. He was a director at large of the Southwestern Virginia, Inc., having been a director the past 14 years. He was recently elected president of the Wythe County Education Association. Mr. and Mrs. L. O. Atwill of Richmond and Miss India DeHart of Washington attended the funeral of their uncle, W. M. Weddle at Wytheville Monday. circa October 3, 1944.5
